There are 400,000 acres of woodland in the southern mountainous area of Xiaoshan, rich in eco-tourism resources, and with the construction of mountain forest roads, the development of rural tourism and homestay industry is increasingly prosperous. But at the same time, the destruction of surrounding forestry resources has also occurred repeatedly.
Focusing on the suggestion of the deputies, the Xiaoshan District Procuratorate took immediate action and found through on-the-spot investigation that in order to develop leisure and tourism facilities such as homestays and family farms, the operators have destroyed forests and landscaping, reclaimed forests and gardened forests, illegally occupied forest land, and illegally built buildings that were oversized and over-high-level, and even built high-end clubs for forestry management buildings that were originally used for production services.
The problem has existed for a long time, and in addition to the deviation of industrial orientation, there must be institutional, systemic, and root problems.
