Longxiang celebrates the New Year
On February 2, the twenty-third day of the lunar month - "Little Year", the launching ceremony of the Fangshan Spring Festival series of activities was successfully held in Xia Village, Shilou Town. With the theme of "New Year Tour in Fangshan and Longxiang for the New Year", this event coordinated the cultural, tourism, commercial, sports and other resources in the region, promoted the linkage of culture, tourism, business and sports consumption, and launched a total of more than 180 New Year activities and 6 New Year tourism routes.
At the launching ceremony, the Fangshan District Culture and Tourism Bureau, the Bureau of Commerce, the Cultural Tourism Investment Company, and Shilou Town** respectively promoted the highlights of the New Year; Zhuozhou City and Laishui County in Hebei Province respectively promoted characteristic cultural and tourism resources during the Spring Festival; In addition, at the launching ceremony, the Fangshan District Culture and Tourism Bureau also released the "Fangshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Banquet" full of cultural characteristics, and displayed the "Persimmon Ruyi" themed intangible cultural heritage banquet carefully prepared by the chefs and intangible cultural heritage inheritors of Zhoukoudian Tianyu Villa. It is worth mentioning that the Fangshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Banquet not only covers the regional culture of 18 towns and villages in Fangshan District, but also combines with Fangshan wine and intangible cultural heritage chrysanthemum liquor, opening a new path for the integrated development of "culture, tourism, commerce and agriculture".
During the Spring Festival, in order to enrich the "menu" of New Year's consumption, the Fangshan District Bureau of Commerce organized various market entities to build New Year-themed consumption scenes in a number of commercial entities, and launched special activities such as markets, ice and snow, and temple fairs to create a prosperous and lively New Year's atmosphere. Fangshan Cultural Tourism Investment Company continues to carry out the "Beautiful Fangshan, Grateful for You" free park activity. From February 10th to February 17th, Zhoukoudian Ruins, Yunju Temple, and Shihua Cave will be open to all walks of life free of charge as a participating scenic spot.
In line with the concept of promoting traditional culture, sharing joy and serving the public, Shilou Town, Fangshan District, held an annual meeting with the theme of "Spring Celebration of Beijing, Blessing of China, Building the Chinese Dream with One Heart and Celebrating the New Year" in Xia Village, focusing on the display of traditional folk art, folk culture, special agricultural products, etc., so that the general public and tourists can feel the strong customs and flavor of the New Year in Shilou.
