At the end of the 90s of the last century, I lived in the countryside of southern Shaanxi for several years. The climatic conditions are good and the products are abundant, especially in the center of the basin, where rice is abundant and the yield is extremely high. The villagers worked hard and lived frugally, and their lives were getting better and better.
Because of the abundance of cereals, almost every farmer in the Hanzhong Basin raises pigs, and they usually build a row of small houses on the front side of their buildings, one of which is a kitchen, and the rest is a toilet and a pigsty. Farmers usually feed their pigs with a mixture of grains and leafy vegetables grown in the field. In the spring, catch a few piglets, after nearly a year of feeding, slaughtered in the winter wax month, except for leaving a part of the bacon to entertain relatives and friends and relatives in the Spring Festival, most of the rest will be **, become an important income.
However, in those days, not all families would always have such a peaceful and happy simple life, and sometimes some unexpected events took away their ordinary happiness in an instant.
At that time, in the early morning of winter, at the dawn of the day, if you are suddenly awakened in your sleep by a shouting and scolding, you must not be surprised, you must get used to it - eighty percent of the village has been burglary, if it is just a few chickens, sometimes it is cows, sheep, or pigs. At that time, cattle, sheep and pigs were important assets of many families, and it was strange that they were suddenly lost and not screamed! If they encounter an extremely strange and cruel way of stealing pigs, it is estimated that the spirits of many of the victimized villagers will be greatly stimulated. I witnessed with my own eyes that the four sturdy fat pigs of a peasant family were stolen by thieves at night, causing the victim's housewife to hit her head against a brick wall.
In the early morning of winter, the peasant woman used to get up at dawn, because there were several pigs at home, and the pigs were usually hungry and screaming when the day was not dawn, and the first thing the peasant woman did when she got up every morning was not to cook for people, but to cook for the pigs, and then carry the wooden barrel to feed the pigs. However, early that morning, when the peasant woman walked to the pigsty with two buckets of pig food, she did not hear the familiar howl, and she felt a hint of foremin.
When the peasant woman approached the pigsty, she was so shocked that she dropped the bucket with both hands, and the door of the pigsty was open, and the lock was wrung and thrown on the ground. She walked into the pigsty with trembling legs, and saw that the four fat pigs in the pen were all left with only the front half, and all of them had no hind hips.
The peasant woman's cries and scolding woke up the whole village.
Overnight, why did the four live big fat pigs have no hind buttocks? That's when the thieves used the worst and most brutal pig stealing methods.
In the dead of night, the villagers fell asleep after a hard day's work. At two or three o'clock in the morning, the thief entered the village with steamed buns soaked in liquor and spices, found the target farmer, and threw the steamed buns to the dog in the yard, who ate the steamed buns soaked in wine and soon fell asleep. The thief then picks the lock of the pigsty and pours the prepared pig food with alcohol and spices into the trough. The sleeping pig opened its eyes, thinking that its owner had fed it in advance, and excitedly pounced on the trough. After ten minutes, the trough was empty, and after another twenty or thirty minutes, the pig gradually fell asleep. In order to prevent accidents, the thief took out the injection needle and gave each pig a new injection of anesthetic. In this way, the four fat pigs lost their hind buttocks in a coma (the thief suspects that the whole pig is heavy, and it is also troublesome to sell, slaughter and dispose of the hind rump).
In the last century.
In the 80s and 90s, this kind of situation in the countryside was considered a big incident, and it caused great harm to the villagers. Fortunately, now the economic conditions in the countryside are also better, there are very few people who raise pigs at home, and besides, science and technology have developed, and thieves have gradually disappeared, and this kind of thing is almost never heard of again. But looking back on those years, it is still distressing that such a thing happened to hard-working farmers.
