"Tourists, take a look, take a look, come and taste the fresh Fengjie navel orange, which is rich in flavor, tender and juicy! ”
On February 11, outside the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing, Yi Ning, the first secretary of Ouying Village, Caotang Town, Fengjie County, set up a stall with the villagers, shouting and selling navel oranges in the village.

Ouying Village is a well-known "Navel Orange Village" in Fengjie. As early as 1972, Ouying Village began to plant navel oranges, and through years of cultivation and improvement, the quality of navel oranges has been continuously improved, and the entrance has turned into slag. In recent years, 7,500 acres of navel oranges have been developed locally, and in 2019, Ouying Village was also rated as the first batch of "One Village, One Product" demonstration villages and towns in Chongqing.
This year, 7,500 acres of navel oranges in Ouying Village welcomed a bumper harvest, with a total output of more than 110,000 tons, an increase of 15% compared with last year.
As soon as the navel oranges were on the market, Yi Ning visited the villagers' homes, and he found that some villagers did not find a market for navel oranges in a short period of time, and they were a little anxious.
Yi Ning thought that Chongqing is a popular tourist city, and during the Spring Festival, various scenic spots are popular and there are many tourists, so he can set up stalls in these places to help villagers sell navel oranges. After reporting this idea to the Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism and the dispatching unit of the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, he received support.
On February 6, Yi Ning organized more than 10 villagers from Ouying Village to come to the Chongqing Three Gorges Museum, and set up a stall outside the museum not only to sell fresh fruits, but also to squeeze orange juice on the spot, inviting tourists to taste and buy.
This way does work. On the first day of the exhibition, Yi Ning helped the villagers sell more than 1,000 catties of navel oranges. In a few days, the on-site sales volume alone has thousands of catties.
And that's just the data for on-site sales, and many tourists have also added *** online with the villagers to buy their navel oranges. Yi Ning said.
Zhou Shiyin is a villager in the eighth group of Ouying Village, planting 60 acres of navel oranges, and in this on-site exhibition, more than 30,000 catties of navel oranges were sold online and offline in less than a week.
On Chinese New Year's Eve, Yi Ning expanded the stalls to popular tourist attractions such as Chongqing Natural History Museum, Chongqing International Circus City, and Chongqing Guotai Art Center. In Ouying Village, local cadres are also organizing villagers to select high-quality navel oranges and coordinate vehicles to transport them to various stalls.
He told reporters that the exhibition will last until the Lantern Festival, and it is conservatively estimated that only offline sales, four stalls can sell more than 3,000 catties of navel oranges every day.
At present, the navel orange planting cooperative in the village has reached a preliminary cooperation intention with three restaurants and cafes in each scenic spot, and the navel oranges in Ouying Village will be used as raw materials for fresh fruit orange juice, orange C coffee and other products, enriching the sales form of navel oranges. Yi Ning introduced that this method will change the "short-term sales during the Spring Festival" into "perennial sales assistance at the sales point", realize the tasting and ordering of Chongqing scenic spots, and the pick-picking and delivery in the Fengjie production area, and continue to help fruit farmers in Ouying Village sell navel oranges.
