According to the unified arrangement of the school's annual assessment work, on January 3, 2024, the on-site report meeting of the 2023 group assessment work of our school was held in the administrative building. All school leaders, teaching and research units, and the main responsible comrades of the party and government management departments participated in this assessment meeting.
On the morning of the 3rd, Wu Zhengguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, and Chen Wei, President of the school, presided over the on-site assessment and debriefing meeting of the party-mass and administrative management departments respectively. Before the meeting, the two school leaders elaborated on the goal positioning of the on-site debriefing assessment, introduced the main tasks and methods of the debriefing assessment, and put forward clear requirements for the annual assessment. Subsequently, the heads of 13 party and mass departments and 17 administrative departments made detailed work reports on the ideas, measures, effectiveness and experience of this year's work, and insufficient problems in combination with the actual work content of each unit. All units are well prepared, carefully condensed, and show the work performance of their units in the past year, and achieve the effect of learning from each other, learning from each other's strengths, and making progress together. After the debriefing, the main party and government leaders of each college evaluated the annual work of the party and the masses and administrative units.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, Chen Wei presided over the on-site assessment and debriefing meeting of teaching and scientific research units. At the meeting, Chen Wei emphasized the importance of strengthening the annual process assessment of tenure targets, and pointed out that the use of collective on-site reporting and assessment is not only a display of the "annual inventory" of each college, but also an observation seminar of "experience exchange" between each college. Subsequently, 18 colleges and 5 teaching and research units directly reported the annual work of their units from three aspects: "annual completion of tenure goals", "remarkable achievements and outstanding achievements" and "implementation and promotion of important work". After the report, some representatives of the functional departments of the main task formulation of the tenure goals evaluated the teaching and research units.
The tenure goal assessment is a "booster" to promote the high-quality development of the school. 2023 is the first year of the eighth round of tenure goals, and the school has innovated the assessment work this year and adopted the form of collective on-site reporting and exchange, which is a reform and exploration made after the school's tenure target responsibility system has been changed from three years to five years. In recent years, while continuously improving the responsibility system for tenure goals, the school has also continued to improve and innovate the assessment system, and made the "articles" of the assessment deeper, more detailed and more practical, aiming to strengthen the process management of tenure, so as to achieve daily work, management in ordinary times, and regular examinations, so as to provide practical guarantee for the smooth achievement of tenure goals.
