Not only Isuzu, Ford also brought a multi-link rear suspension to the domestic Ranger Ranger, which is different from the full range of leaf springs in Australia and Southeast Asian markets, and the field version and the first version of the domestic Ranger are equipped with a multi-link + watt link rear overhang, which is more in line with the habits of Chinese cars. It should be noted here that the famous Watt connecting rod is actually equipped with domestic pickups, which are Jiangling Avenue Light Chasers and Explorers. 
The Watt linkage is an efficient design that combines comfort, performance and cost. When the car is turning, centrifugal force acts on the wheels. The role of the Watt linkage is to balance these centrifugal forces on both wheels and reverse them to the other side. In this way, the wheels on both sides are always in optimal contact with the road surface, and the car becomes more agile when steering. It improves the driving comfort of the pickup truck and strengthens the traction of the pickup truck. 
Multi-link is actually a general term, generally the suspension of three-link and above connecting rod structure is called multi-link structure, and the current domestic pickup trucks are mainly five-link. The parallel four-link structure is actually a more common suspension in the non-load-bearing body, which is usually composed of four support arms and a thrust rod, and it is precisely because it is the four support arms that actually play the core role of the suspension, so the suspension is called "four links". Compared to leaf springs, the four-link is more comfortable, the rear axle has better suspension travel, and the power loss is reduced. 
The pickup truck equipped with parallel four-link suspension has the Jeep Gladiator, which is currently entering the domestic market in the form of imports, and it is a sister model to the Jeep Wrangler, which is favored for its strong off-road ability.
