Sketch No.4Oil on canvas 50x60cm2023art click: Ten years ago, we have been working together about your photography, but after these years you suddenly stopped photography and devoted yourself to easel painting, can you talk about the reason for choosing easel painting?Jiang Liang: It was in 2011 that I felt that my creative ideas of photography had hit a bottleneck, so I decided to put photography on the back burner, and then picked up the brush again to find the connection between the two, and explore whether painting could strengthen the shortcomings of my photographic works or deepen the deepening of my photographic works. This was the original idea when I started painting again, and I didn't know that this painting would be 12 years old. Painting has become an important part of my life now, and my research and thinking about painting is no less than that of photography back then.

The two are different, one is the results of modern industrial development and scientific and technological development plus subjective ideas to produce images;The other is the artisanal technique plus the subjective thought to come out of the image.

I will magnify a very small object many times and express it in the form of an oil painting.
