1.First of all, make sure that both your Huawei phone and the air conditioner you want to control support the smart control feature.
2.Open your Huawei phone and find the Smart Life app (if you don't have it on your phone, you can search for and install it in the app store).
3.Once you open the app, tap on "Devices" and then in the page, tap on "IR Remote Control".
4.In the smart remote control interface, you can see the brand air conditioner remote control automatically added by the system, if you don't have the brand air conditioner you need in the list, you can click "Add" at the bottom.
5.Then select the remote control type and click on "Air Conditioner".
6.When prompted, tap Always allow.
7.Find your air conditioner brand in the Select Brand interface, or search directly in the search box.
8.Point your phone in the receiving direction of the air conditioner and press the power button. Release the power button when you hear a "beep" sound, and then tap "Yes".
9.Continue to follow the prompts, point your phone in the receiving direction of the air conditioner and press the mode button. Release the power button when you hear a "beep" sound, and then tap "Yes".
10.After completing the above operations, the phone has recognized the brand of air conditioner, you can give it a name, click "Save".
11.You can now turn the air conditioner on and off with the on/off button on your phone.
It should be noted that using a mobile phone to turn on the air conditioner requires both the mobile phone and the air conditioner to support intelligent control functions, and some air conditioning brands may need to install a specific app on the mobile phone to control it.
