Good news in the New Year, the first prize in the country

Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the "Announcement on the 2023 National Ordinary Colleges and Universities ** Education Major, Art Education Undergraduate Students and Teachers Basic Skills Exhibition and Selection Results", and Ma Lihong, a teacher from the School of Art and Design of our school, won the first prize of individual all-around in this competition (second place in the country), and won the individual award for professional skills display, which fully demonstrated the excellent comprehensive quality, professional level and innovative practice ability.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Education, this year's exhibition of basic art skills is the highest competition for the teaching of art majors in colleges and universities in China, the first national art education achievement display to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and a concentrated study for the fifth anniversary of the implementation of the spirit of the general secretary to the old professor of the Academy of Fine Arts. The school attaches great importance to the competition, and the relevant departments have carefully planned and arranged the training plan for the competition, and set up a competition guidance group.

In principle, each province recommends no more than 3 schools of 3 art teachers to participate, Ma Lihong won the first prize in the teacher group in the 6th Shandong Province College Art and Design Teachers and Students Basic Skills Competition, and was recommended by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education to participate in the National Art Education Teachers and Students Competition in ordinary colleges and universities.

This year's basic skills exhibition lasted for four days, with three projects: teaching display (micro-course), professional ability display, and aesthetic and humanistic quality display, showing the comprehensive quality, professional level and innovative practice ability of art education teachers in colleges and universities in the new era. Participating teachers from all categories of the three programmes are required to participate. A total of 346 teachers and students from 107 colleges and universities across the country participated in the exhibition.

This basic skills display is not only a centralized inspection and full affirmation of the teaching quality of art education in our school, but also an important opportunity to further promote the in-depth development of art education in our school, and plays an important role in the reform of art education talent training methods and the improvement of the comprehensive quality and aesthetic education literacy of art education talents.
