The same work of art, in the eyes of different people, will have different understandings. On February 6, Lamborghini teamed up with Ducati to create a set of works of art – two cars with the "Art of Mythology".
The two cars, created by artist Paolo Troulo, will be exhibited at the Arte Fiera Bologna from today, with Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, and Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, unveiling both cars.
At the heart of the collaboration, Lamborghini officially interprets it as "the two brands represent globally recognized excellence in their respective fields, and are a symbol of the reputation of 'Made in Italy' and Auto Valley." This excellence, combined with Paolo Trolio's artistic debut, connects art with the automotive world and becomes a testament to the coexistence, co-prosperity and perfect union of the two".
Self-taught artist Paolo Trolio, born in Taranto in 1972, is known for his unique hyper-realistic finger painting technique, which is mostly striking, black-and-white hand-drawn illustrations. The two artworks are "Minotauro", which is based on the Lamborghini Huracán Evo, and "Centauro", which is based on the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Limited Edition.
Both cars belong to the same owner, and although it is not known who the owner is, it is foreseeable that the two cars will be more limited than the limited edition.
The "Minotauro" painted by Lamborghini Huracán Evo, through Paolo Troilo's fingertips, depicts the powerful features of the human body, such as the sharp fists on the hood and the impact expressed by the splashed lines, which not only expresses the dynamics, power and passion that the artist feels when driving the Huracán Evo, but also expresses the design, performance and quality of Lamborghini.
The car is a fusion of the concepts of "man", "bull" and "myth", all three of which come together to show tenacity, bravery, supernatural and almost animalistic power.
Compared to the Lamborghini Huracán Evo, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Limited Edition has a relatively narrow "canvas size", but the "Centauro" still incorporates "mythological elements" similar to those of the Huracán Evo, and also expresses power and movement.
However, in the eyes of Chinese automobiles, black and white with splashes of brush and ink, the first impression can actually see the style of ink painting, but the ink painting is more in pursuit of artistic conception, while Paolo troilo's artistic creation is more inclined to a sense of impact.
The Lamborghini Huracán Evo is powered by a V10 engine that produces a maximum power of 470 kW or 640 hp and accelerates from zero to 100 in just 29 seconds at a top speed of 325 km/h. The Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Limited Edition is powered by a V-4 water-cooled engine with a displacement of 1103cc and a maximum power of 1532 kW, peak torque up to 1217 Ox. Rice.
It is not difficult to see from the naming of the Ducati model that it is not the first time that the two brands belonging to the same Volkswagen Group have joined forces, and the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is limited to 630 units, in addition to the Lamborghini Huracán Evo owners are limited to another 63 units, that is, the total limited edition is 630 + 63 units, of which 63 cars are limited to Lamborghini owners, all of which use the same livery as the Huracán Evo.
The artistic cooperation between automobile and motorcycle brands has a long history, but as a luxury Lamborghini, the art model created by Ducati and Ducati not only improves the quality of the vehicle, but also lies in its uniqueness and value.
