The difference between being a teacher in the city and being a principal in a town center school

It turns out that being a teacher in the city is too hard and tiring, and there is not much pressure to be a principal in the township, and there is no risk in holding an important position. Now the township principal is far superior to the teacher of the prestigious school.

If you have two opportunities to choose: one is to become a teacher in a famous school in the city, and the other is to be the principal of a central school in the township, do you choose to be a teacher in the city or go to the township to be the principal? There are different lives behind different choices!

In June 2010, my colleague *** passed the examination and went to the city to become a teacher in a famous primary school. In September of the same year, my colleague Mr. Zhang became the deputy director of the school's teaching through a relationship.

** and his wife chose to be elementary school teachers in the city, although their jobs and incomes are stable, they are still intermediate titles. His son's academic performance was not satisfactory, but there was no way to do it. He can only be busy with work every day, and he can only make up for his son during the holidays. In the past ten years, I have bought two houses, and the second one is still in the monthly mortgage payment.

Teacher Zhang became the deputy director of teaching of the school through the relationship, and completed the ** jump from deputy director to principal within 5 years. And he was rated as a senior title early, and his salary income is much higher than ***. In 2015, at the age of 35, he became the principal of a township central primary school with nearly 1,000 students (including kindergarten students), and due to work reasons, he was transferred to a large town center school with more than 1,500 students three years later as the principal. At the current pace, he should have a bright future!

A close friend of President Zhang's once said that he was also very tired. His son is studying in high school in a private school, with a tuition fee of more than 40,000 yuan per term and a lot of living expenses. There are two shops in the city, which are being rented, and the annual rent of tens of thousands of dollars for those two shops should be just enough for the mortgage of his third house!

The stories of these two men tell us that whether they are teachers in the city or headmasters in the township, they all have their own strengths and challenges. Teachers in the city can enjoy better educational resources and treatment, but they also need to face higher living costs and competitive pressures. Principals in townships can have more room for development and higher social status, but they also need to take on more responsibilities and pressures.

Different choices have their pros and cons, and the key is your own values and life goals. No matter which career you choose, work hard and face challenges positively in order to achieve success and happiness.

Seeing this, I don't know if you would rather be a teacher in a famous school in the city or a principal in the township? Feel free to leave a comment!
