The works of Yang Ming to obtain "Mountain Flowers" and "Hundred Flowers" are all works with the theme of three lanes and seven lanes created by Shoushan stone carving skills, "Ancient House New Rhyme" uses Spring Festival couplets, red lanterns and other traditional Chinese Spring Festival elements to freeze the time, combining the saddle wall shape in Fuzhou's ancient houses with the ancient banyan tree elements of the leafy branches, depicting the scene of children setting off firecrackers for the New Year, in order to express the lively New Year's atmosphere in the market and alleys, thus evoking people's strong memories of the traditional Chinese New Year. "The Prosperous Age of Dragons" shows the scene of the Lantern Festival in three lanes and seven alleys, with bustling street scenes, swirling golden dragons, lively lion dances, and nearly 100 vivid characters, which vividly express the scene of prosperous China. Both works are large-scale Shoushan stone carving works, integrating round carving, relief carving, hollow carving and other Shoushan stone carving techniques, with clear layers, movement and stillness.

Fuzhou has a heavy historical and cultural heritage, especially the Fuzhou ancient house represented by the three lanes and seven lanes is one of the representatives, as a Fuzhou people who grew up in the ancient house since childhood, I have long wanted to use the Shoushan stone carving I am good at to create some hometown theme works. Yang Ming said that the two works have won the award is an encouragement, but also a spur for future development, he will continue to strive to create more in line with the aesthetics of the times and Fuzhou characteristics of Shoushan stone carving works, so that more art lovers can appreciate the unique charm of Fuzhou's urban culture.
