Instructor Profile
Ting Dang is a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the University of Melbourne, and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge and a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales. He has worked as a senior research scientist at Nokia Bell Labs in the United Kingdom and a senior research associate at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include interpretable large-scale machine learning models to improve healthcare. Many of the papers have been published in journals and conferences such as Nature NPJ, Nerips, KDD, JMIR, ICASSP, Interspeech, UBICOMP, Percom, etc. He is currently serving as a program committee and reviewer for more than 30 top journals and conferences such as AAAI, IJCAI, UBICOMP, ICASSP, IEEE TAC, IEEE TaSLP, JASA, JMIR, etc., and has won the ACII Best Award, ICASSP Top 3% Award, and Asian Dean'S Forum Rising Star Women in Engineering Award 2022 and IEEE Early Career Writing Retreat Grant 2019.

Admissions Requirements:
1.Educational requirements: Possess a Master's or Bachelor's (Honours) degree with first-class honours;
2.Major: Solid background and programming ability in computer science, electronic engineering or other related fields;
3.Scientific research experience: relevant research experience or publication in prestigious conferences and journals**;
4.Scientific research ability: excellent analytical and software engineering skills, proficient in Python, and proficient in using machine learning algorithms such as PyTorch Tensorflow;
