In order to allow hearing-impaired children to better receive sex education and promote the harmonious and equitable development of society, the Solidarity with the Future Practice Team of the School of Translation and Interpretation of Qufu Normal University went to Rizhao Xinsheng** Center in Rizhao City, Shandong Province and Qingdao Xiaobailing Hearing and Language Center in Qingdao City, Shandong Province from January 21 to 22, 2024 to carry out winter vacation practice activities of sex education for hearing-impaired children, focusing on protecting children's rights and interests, improving quality of life, better integrating into society, and promoting educational equity and social progress.

Before the start of the practical activity, the team members held a social practice mobilization meeting to stimulate the enthusiasm of the team members to practice, and then the team members collected relevant information, produced and distributed questionnaires, obtained considerable data, and realized that people do not pay enough attention to sex education for hearing-impaired children, so the team members are more determined to explore this topic.

The practice team came to Rizhao Xinsheng and Qingdao Xiaobailing Hearing ** Center for field visits, and narrowed the distance between the team and the hearing-impaired children by doing jigsaw puzzles and building blocks with hearing-impaired children, so as to better understand their inner needs, so that the team members have a deeper understanding of the theme of sex education for hearing-impaired children, and then better carry out the work in the future.

Subsequently, the practice team sat with the children, used sign language and vivid ** to explain sex education knowledge to the children, and encouraged them to correctly understand their body structure and protect themselves. The children were enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and actively interacted with team members, so that the practical activities were carried out smoothly and achieved good practical results.

The practical activities aim to enable more hearing-impaired children to have a correct understanding of sexual knowledge, promote children's equal rights and opportunities, cultivate children's self-awareness, create a safe environment, and better protect children's rights and interests. By disseminating sex education knowledge to hearing-impaired children, the activity better integrates hearing-impaired children into society, and at the same time promotes the progress and development of social civilization.
