This truth is not only the truth on the Yellow River Road in "Flowers", but also seems to be a generalizable principle for Chinese who keep secrets and be pragmatic. Many years ago, in the TV series "The Great Dyeing Workshop", Mr. Lu said: "If you don't keep secrets, you will lose your ministers, if you don't keep secrets, you will lose your body, and if you don't keep secrets, you will become harmful."
