Fuxing Bridge is the eighth bridge across the Ganjiang River in Nanchang City, the largest span of steel-concrete composite beam steel box arch bridge in the province, and also the widest arch bridge with the widest composite beam deck in China. The total length of the bridge is 47 kilometers, of which the main bridge adopts a medium-bearing tied arch bridge, with a main span of 268 meters and a height of 5583 meters, the maximum width of the bridge deck is 428 meters, the total weight of the steel structure of the main bridge reaches 290,000 tons, with two-way eight lanes and an independent cross-river slow traffic system, the first in the domestic arch bridge structure bridge to separate pedestrians, non-motorized vehicles and vehicular passages. The shape of the main bridge is simple and smooth, like a swallow skimming the water.
In the process of construction, Fuxing Bridge has successively overcome the construction of locking steel pipe pile cofferdam under complex geology, large-volume concrete pouring and underwater bottom sealing concrete construction, and solved the technical problems such as large scale of interchange cast-in-place beams, multiple hole spans, and complex construction procedures of Helong. In the process, the project builders overcame difficulties and explored a series of new technologies and new processes, efficiently opened up the "blocking points", solved the "pain points" of the project, provided a strong guarantee for the high-quality and efficient construction of the project, and successfully realized the completion and opening of the main line of the bridge.
After the completion of the Fuxing Bridge, it will improve the rapid transportation system of "one river and two banks" in Nanchang City, greatly alleviate the traffic bottleneck of the cross-river passage in Changnan area, shorten the original 30-minute journey to 3 minutes, and promote the integration of Jiulonghu area in Honggutan District and Changnan Industrial Group in Nanchang County, and become an important development strategy of Nanchang City's "eastward expansion, westward expansion, southern extension, northern integration, and Zhongxing", as well as a strong support for the integrated development of Nanchang metropolitan area.
