The new Macan model, based on the PPE platform, is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a total storage capacity of 100 kWh (the maximum usable power is 95 kWh). Even the Macan 4 model easily achieves a 0-100kmh acceleration time of 33 seconds, a top speed of 260kmh.
In terms of charging, the new car can be charged to 80% in 21 minutes with fast charging, while the range is 591 km for the Macan Turbo and 613 km for the Macan 4 (WLTP).
In terms of appearance, the closed design of the spoiler and the completely enclosed chassis have become the biggest changes of the new car, which not only reduces the drag coefficient to 025, the size of the body is also more in line with the sporty style. Compared to its predecessor, the new Macan is 58 103 mm longer, 15 mm wider and 2 mm lower, with dimensions of 4784 1938 1622 mm and a weight of 2330 2405 kg.
And on the interior, 12.6-inch curved instrument screen and 109-inch central display as well as optional 10Together, the 9-inch passenger entertainment screen forms the information system of the all-new Macan. In addition, the AR head-up display system has also been enhanced, for example, the virtual road sign arrows in the display will display information at a display size equivalent to an 87-inch display 10 meters in front of the car, which not only has a better visual experience, but also is more suitable for the seamless connection between virtual and reality.
In terms of interior space, the front and rear seats are also 28 mm and 15 mm lower respectively because the new car is smaller than the previous model, but the space under the feet of passengers has been increased because of the longer body. The boot size is 540 litres in the normal state, and can be expanded to 1,348 litres if the rear seats are folded down.
