The Spring Festival is their busiest time

Chinese New Year. There are many hard-working people who have left their hometowns.

I am looking forward to going home for a reunion year.

But there are also quite a few domestic workers.

Decided to stay at the place of work and stick to his post.

Meet the needs of thousands of families.

"Take a few more ordersMake more money".

Zhao Hong, a housekeeping aunt from Shanxi, is one of the workers who stick to her post during the Spring Festival, and "take more orders and make more money" is the "small goal" she set for herself in the New Year.

Zhao Hong, 43, has been working as a housekeeper in Beijing for more than three years. Talking about her decision not to go home for the Chinese New Year this year, she doesn't have too many regrets:

Many old customers have Spring Festival cleaning services until the 30th day of the Chinese New Year's Eve, and I worked until 7 pm on the last day of the year. After the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, the list of appointments has gradually increased, and the list has been full recently. In fact, you can go home whenever you want, and you can earn more money during the Chinese New Year. I did a rough calculation, and I expect that my income may double during the Chinese New Year this year. ”

Previously, Zhao Hong had never had a formal job, and the burden on her family was not light. After being introduced by a fellow villager, she joined the housekeeping service platform to become a cleaner. Today, she earns more than her husband and is able to support the family's expenses.

Stay at your place of work for the New Year

"It's also a responsibility."

Talking about the reason why she stayed in Beijing for the New Year, Yang Xianhua, a cleaner, believes that it is not only to make money, but also a responsibility. Yang Xianhua said:

During the Spring Festival, there are many orders, and many old customers specify me to serve, and we can't live up to the trust of customers. In addition, my hometown is quite close to Beijing, and I can go home to see my children when I am not busy, so my family is very supportive of me staying in Beijing during the Spring Festival. ”

Yang Xianhua, who was born on the "tail" of the post-80s, is already a mother of 3 children. Yang Xianhua told reporters that when she left her hometown to work in Beijing three years ago, she was opposed by her family, but she thought that "she can't continue to be a housewife in the village, otherwise she will be derailed from society, and she wants to be a role model for her children." Today, Yang Xianhua has grown into the company's highest-level cleaner, and is also a collector, with a monthly income of more than 10,000 yuan.

"The Spring Festival has become my busiest time".

For most people, Chinese New Year's Eve is the most important meal of the year to eat with family. For Zhang Xiaoting from Chongqing, from the 30th to the 8th day of the Chinese New Year's Eve, asking her to cook at her home is the biggest recognition of her by customers.

"The Spring Festival has become my busiest time".Zhang Xiaoting loves food, she took the chef certificate two years ago, and saw the "private chef door-to-door" service on social **, and felt that it was suitable for her, and from 2022 onwards, she will use her cooking skills to make money to supplement her family.

Zhang Xiaoting said

I didn't go back to my hometown for the Spring Festival this year, and I have accumulated a lot of customers in the past two years, and many people have booked for me to cook Chinese New Year's Eve dinner, but I can only take two orders at most a night, which has to be prepared in advance. This year, there are a lot more families in Beijing who come to me for home cooking services than in the previous two years, at the beginning of the Lunar New Year.

Third, the beginning. On the fourth and fifth nights of the Lunar New Year, I was booked out, and many people who wanted to eat out and party were unable to book a suitable restaurant, and out of trust, they preferred to come to me to cook. ”

There are also many tough and warm workers like Zhao Hong, Yang Xianhua, and Zhang Xiaoting, who bring a better life to themselves and their families with their hard-working hands. For urban residents, it is the silent dedication of this group of "non-returnees" that maintains the operation of the subtleties of the city during the Spring Festival and meets the needs of thousands of families.
