Introduction

This article is excerpted from the ninth volume of "Linzi Literary and Historical Materials" Anti-Japanese Struggle Materials**, written by Chen Yidong and Wang Jun, and the original title is "A Beautiful Defense War".

I always thought that literature and history should not be a story, but after reading too much, I found that it was actually a story, and there was only one "compilation" between a story and a wild history.

Body

In the early summer of 1910, the Linzi County CPC Committee decided to convene a meeting of county-wide, district, and township cadres in accordance with the needs of the development of the anti-Japanese struggle to discuss and arrange the work related to "persisting in guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines." This was a crucial meeting that had a bearing on whether or not we could persist in the struggle behind enemy lines and create anti-Japanese base areas. In order to ensure the successful opening of the meeting, Comrade Han Kexin, secretary of the county party committee, convened a special meeting in advance to study the venue, security tasks, agenda, and the assembly of participants. According to the complicated situation of the large number of enemy and pseudo-strongholds in Linzi, the presence of heavy troops in Linzi City, and the impermanence of enemy spies, it was determined that the meeting should be held near Lijiazhuang, which was close to the edge of Guangrao.

Although this village is only seven or eight miles away from the enemy's stronghold to the east, it is far away from Linzi City, and the control of the enemy and us in this village is not strict, forming a state of ignoring the two, the mass foundation of the village is relatively good, and the terrain is also favorable, with the west gate and the southeast gate. Outside the southeast gate, there is a small Lijiazhuang of more than a dozen families, and the village is not noticed. In the end, the meeting was held in a courtyard house in Xiaolizhuang. In order for the meeting to be held safely, it was necessary to have a good security team, and finally it was decided to hand over this security task to Comrade Sun Fengwen, captain of the Second Brigade of Linzi County.

The day before the meeting, it was the Dragon Boat Festival of the old calendar, and the captain Sun Fengwen received an urgent letter sent by the secretary of the Linzi County Party Committee: "The Linzi County Party Committee organized an important meeting of county, district and township party members and cadres, and the location was in Baitu Hill (Note:This is more funny, and the White Rabbit Hill is in the south of the lamb 1About 5km) Northwest Lijiazhuang, you are specially ordered to lead the troops to rush to the night to bear the task of defense, there must be no mistake! After receiving the letter, Comrade Sun Fengwen, who had been tested for a long time, deeply felt the arduousness and importance of the task, and there were 40 miles of shortcuts from Damadai Village, east of Zihe, where the brigade was stationed at that time, to LijiazhuangNote:It is estimated that in the age when there was no electronic map, it was indeed difficult to measure with No. 11, and no road was straight).

It is necessary to do a good job of secrecy, and only after nightfall can we avoid the village, which can really be described as: time is tight, and the task is heavy. Sun Fengwen found Qian Jinshan, political commissar of the brigade, Wang Chunlin, deputy captain of the brigade, and several other comrades to study the defense plan. Because Xiao Li, the correspondent of the brigade, was a native of Xiaolizhuang outside the southeast gate of Lijiazhuang and knew the situation in Lijiazhuang very well, he asked him to give a briefing, and also determined a defense plan based on the situation he had learned during his activities in Lijiazhuang on weekdays and the possible enemy situation.

Sun Fengwen and Political Commissar Qian Jinshan personally led two squadrons to march from Damadai Starry Night in the east of the Zihe River to Lijiazhuang. They avoided more than a dozen villages and five or six gangs of nocturnal walkers, crossed several small rivers, alertly crossed the Zihe River from the east of Baitu Hill, passed through the East and West Jiwang Villages, and bypassed Xiaotian's house and entered Lijiazhuang. After Sun Fengwen arranged the guard, according to the specific location of the meeting and several issues that should be paid attention to, he immediately sent people to occupy the favorable terrain separately, and also set up ambushes at several key entrances to the fence wall, several intersections, and a few ancient locust trees. When the meeting was going on as planned, a squad that put a mobile sentry at the southeast gate suddenly found that more than 200 Japanese puppet troops had surrounded Xiaolijiazhuang, and the battle immediately began. On the one hand, the squad leader commanded to block the enemy, and on the other hand, sent a soldier back to Lijiazhuang to report the enemy situation to the brigade headquarters. When the captain Sun Fengwen heard the gunshots, he ordered a company to seize the southern wall of Lijiazhuang and fight the enemy in close combat; While ordering another company to go out of the west gate of Lijiazhuang to raid the enemy from the west and south, this company chose favorable terrain and came to a counter-encirclement of the enemy, and attacked the enemy by surprise.

The Japanese army and the traitor team that surrounded the Xiaolijiazhuang venue were suddenly attacked by our army, and they were at a loss for a while and panicked. It turned out that there was a traitor surnamed Li (Note:It seems that there is no shortage of this thing in any age. A secret report was made to the Japanese army in Chengyang's stronghold: "The backbone elements of the Communist Party of Linzi have gathered in Da Lijiazhuang, and it seems that an important meeting is being held. And repeatedly explained: "The meeting found no armed guards. When the enemy learned of this situation, he thought it was an excellent opportunity to completely destroy the Linzi Communists, and the Japanese puppet leader of the Lamb stronghold hurriedly reported the situation to his superiors stationed in Linzi City. They gathered about 200 Japanese puppet soldiers from Chenglamb and Linzi City, and came to Lijiazhuang in the starry night, dreaming that their fantasies could be achieved without much effort. Thinking is at a time when they are complacent. Encountering a sudden blow from our army, the invading enemy was in chaos. The fighters, who had long been lying in ambush outside the village of Lijiazhuang, saw that the enemy was in confusion and fled in confusion, and immediately organized fire to fire fiercely at the enemy. In this defensive battle, more than 30 enemies were killed and wounded, and only one comrade of our side was killed, which can be described as a beautiful defensive battle.

After the enemy suffered defeat, he could not explain to his superiors, so he had no choice but to shoot the "informant" to death on the grounds of "lying about the military situation and betraying the Japanese army."
