On the morning of February 27, 2024 local time, Xu Peng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meibao Group, was invited to visit the Sacramento Firefighters Burn Institute (FFBI).
Joe Pick, Executive Director of the Institute, warmly received Chairman Xu Peng and his delegation and introduced the history and mission of FFBI. FFBI is a 50-year-old non-profit organization focused on improving the physical and mental health and quality of life of burn patients, as well as fire prevention education and education. Chairman Xu Peng specifically introduced the cooperation between Meibao International and the Sacramento Kings in honoring firefighters and the cooperation with the UC D**is Burn Institute in the field of burn **FDA clinical research, and introduced the Empathy Museum project in cooperation with the American Burn Society (ABA), which calls for the prevention of burns and the popularization of better burn technology by demonstrating the serious impact of traditional burns and sequelae on the lives of patients after injury.
FFBI was founded in 1973. Over the years, it has expanded its mission to include burn research, public education, fire services, and burn injury services for burn survivors and their families. FFBI provides active leadership at multiple levels through its ongoing involvement in local post-burn recovery programs, burn prevention education and outreach, and through its involvement with the Federation of Burn Societies and the American Burn Association.
