Now, I'm going to walk you through how to make a delicious tea egg, as well as the ingredients you need.

First of all, we need to prepare the following materials:

A number of eggs (the number is determined according to the number of people).

Tea leaves (black tea, green tea, oolong tea, etc., can be selected according to personal taste).

Star anise, cinnamon, bay leaf, ginger, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, sugar and other seasonings.

Next is the production step:

1.Put the eggs in a pot, add enough water to submerge the eggs, bring to a boil and continue to cook for 5 minutes, then remove the eggs and rinse them with cold water.

2.Gently knock out the cracks in the egg shell, being careful not to peel off the eggshell.

3.Put the tea leaves into the tea bag, or directly into the pot, add an appropriate amount of water, then add star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, ginger and other seasonings, boil and turn to low heat and cook for 10 minutes, so that the tea juice can fully release the flavor of tea and seasonings.

4.Put the processed eggs into the tea, add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, sugar and other seasonings, and simmer for 20 minutes. During this period, the eggs can be turned to allow the tea leaves and seasonings to fully penetrate into the inside of the eggs.

5.Turn off the heat and soak the eggs in the tea juice for a while to allow the eggs to fully absorb the flavor of the tea aroma and seasonings.

6.Finally, take out the tea eggs and let them cool before eating.

Notes:1Do not overcook eggs when boiling them so as not to affect the taste and appearance.

2.Tea can choose different kinds of tea, such as black tea, green tea, oolong tea, etc., according to personal taste.

3.The seasoning can be increased or decreased according to individual taste to achieve the best taste.
