In Ganzhou, Jiangxi, known as the "Kingdom of Rare Earths", there is a bridge, and from the moment it is "conceived", it has become a witness to the two-way rush between central enterprises and the old area.
On January 1 this year, after 28 months of hard work, the "Ping'an Bridge" located in Rongjiang New District, Ganzhou was fully completed and opened to traffic.
Nine days later, on January 10, the Office of the Geographical Names Committee of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province issued the "Announcement on the Naming of the Rare Earth Bridge", and the "Ping'an Bridge" was renamed "Rare Earth Bridge". At the same time, there is also a "rare earth avenue" with a length of 7,372 meters and a width of 34 meters from the first bridge in the north and the boundary of the Rongjiang New Area in the south, which forms a criss-cross and mutual reflection with the rare earth bridge.
One bridge and one name change, one city and one enterprise.
This is not only a high affirmation of the Jiangxi Revolutionary Base Area for China Rare Earth Group to take root in Jiangxi and deeply cultivate Jiangxi in the past two years, but also reflects the deep affection of Chinese rare earth people to change their hometown into their hometown and coexist, coexist and share together, win-win and common prosperity with the old revolutionary area.
Rare earths are known as "industrial", "industrial vitamins" and "mother of new materials", which can be used in many fields such as military, industry, and medicine. The distribution of rare earths in China shows obvious regional concentration, and 98% of the rare earths in the country are concentrated in Inner Mongolia, Jiangxi, Guangdong and Sichuan. The reserves of heavy rare earths in Jiangxi are very large, among which the proven reserves of yttrium rare earths account for the first place in the country, and the deposits are mainly distributed in Ganzhou.
Strengthening the resource development, industrial upgrading, merger and reorganization of enterprises in the rare earth industry, and improving the ability of independent innovation and market competitiveness are the goals that the people in the old area have been diligently pursuing in the field of rare earth development and utilization for many years.
Two years ago, China Rare Earth Group settled in Ganzhou, completely rewriting the history of the old area of Jiangxi without the headquarters of central enterprises since the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the reputation of "rare earth kingdom" has become tangible and accessible.

Standing at the head of the Rare Earth Bridge, the blueprint of the China Rare Earth Group Headquarters and Science and Technology Innovation Center in Rongjiang New Area has been drawn. In the future, there will be rare earth schools, rare earth parks, rare earth cities, and more rare earth-related industrial resources, innovation resources, and talent resources through the rare earth bridge, which will grow jointly, and set off the two-way running posture of Gannan people and Chinese rare earth people more beautifully.
