It is understood that the Baiyangli Tunnel is a single-hole single-line tunnel, and the tunnel exit is located in Huping Village in the Qinling Mountains, with a natural slope of more than 45°, steep slope and many gravels. The lithology of the tunnel body is mainly Quaternary mudstone and sandstone, the surrounding rock of the arch is a fine round gravel layer and a silt layer, the tunnel face is clayey loess, the groundwater is developed, the rock mass is weak, the overall stability of the surrounding rock is extremely poor, and it is easy to fall off and collapse during the construction process, and the construction is very difficult.
Due to the limitations of natural conditions, the construction of the Baiyangli tunnel is difficult. To this end, the project department and the participating units continue to optimize the construction plan, coordinate the allocation of resources, and strengthen safety and quality control. In the process of excavation, strictly follow the principle of 'pipe advance, strict grouting, short footage, weak blasting, fast closure, and diligent measurement', strictly control the process, and at the same time require technical and safety personnel to supervise and control the whole process, and timely disclose the technical and safety points to the construction line to ensure excellent quality and construction safety. In order to continuously improve the construction capacity and process level, the project team actively practiced the concept of "mechanization to improve quality and automation to increase speed". At the construction site, advanced tooling equipment such as tunnel hydraulic inverted arch trestle, intelligent lining trolley, and automatic sprinkler health system have been introduced. In the construction, through the application of information technology to control the tunnel construction process, the Baiyangli tunnel ensures that the excavation of 1 cycle per day and the footage of 3 per day under the condition of five-level surrounding rock6 meters of construction progress. At present, the maximum excavation footage of the Baiyangli tunnel in a single month exceeds 150 meters, which creates favorable conditions for the early breakthrough of the tunnel.
At the same time, in order to cope with the flow of personnel during the Spring Festival and ensure the continuous progress of the project, the project department formulated a detailed work plan, deployed personnel, and made timely adjustments according to the actual situation.
