According to Goertek, a few days ago, Goertek's industrial design work Flexible VR Glasses won the 2024 German IF Design Award for the first time with its innovative design and excellent user experience. This is also after winning the good design award in Japan last year, Goertek design has once again received international recognition. Known as the "Oscars of the design world", the German iF Design Award is one of the most influential industrial design awards in the world.
Flexible VR glasses focus on solving the pain points of current VR glasses such as large size and inconvenient carrying, and the foldable design realized by the hinge makes the product occupy less space, saving 40% of storage space compared with traditional products, and has better portability. At the same time, users can also directly flip the front island of the product (the main unit part) to interact with the environment and communicate with others, while reducing the pressure on the face and eyes caused by long-term wear. In addition, different from conventional product solutions, the mask is designed with a large number of air ducts, and then drives air circulation through the front island to reduce the surface temperature of the mask and achieve good heat dissipation effect.
Through continuous insight into market demand, Goertek continues to break through the bottleneck of industry design and provide global customers with one-stop solutions from product concept, design to final mass production. In the future, Goertek will continue to uphold the "people-oriented" design concept, drive development with scientific and technological innovation, and strive to provide global consumers with more intelligent, comfortable and portable high-quality intelligent products.
