In April in Russia, the ice and snow are beginning to melt, and spring is full of joy. As the team leader, last year I took a group of enthusiastic team members on a journey to Moscow to attend the International Consumer Electronics and Electrical Electronics Show (ICEE) held there.
It was my first time going to **, and to be honest, Moscow is really a very attractive city, from ancient buildings to modern art, from lively markets to orderly exhibition venues, every detail reveals the unique charm of the city.
On the opening day of the exhibition, our booth was crowded. Visitors from different countries showed great interest in our products. Fortunately, before the exhibition, we hired a local Chinese student as a translator, and many of the customers who came to consult were B-end customers in Moscow and St. Petersburg, only a few of them were fluent in Chinese, and many of them relied on English to communicate, so the importance of translation was highlighted. A week before the exhibition, we communicated with the translator hired at that time, and sent our own product manuals, superior products and other materials to the other party. It was a Sichuan beauty in her 20s, very talkative, and compared with professional translators, this kind of international student translation is much more cost-effective. On site, she will take the initiative to introduce the features, advantages and usage of the product to customers. During the period, we also helped to directly reach a customer's on-site signing, and at the end of the exhibition, we also recommended a lot of fun and delicious places.
After the exhibition, we organized a group to participate in a day trip around the area. It's a rare opportunity to experience Russian culture and life in depth. We visited Red Square and the Kremlin in Moscow, and felt the richness of Russian history and the magnificence of culture. Walking along the banks of the Neva River made me feel like I was in an oil painting, where the old buildings and busy citizens made up a vivid picture.
In the evening, I tasted Russian food with my teammates. Red caviar, Russian dumplings, kebabs, ......Every dish made us addicted. We also went to the local bar and tried some Russian drinks, which gave us a taste of the warmth and boldness of the Russians.
Actually, I have a deep feeling for the Russian style. Whether at the fair or on the streets, we always meet friendly Russians who come forward to communicate with us and share their culture and stories. Their hospitality made us exotic feel at home. With the approach of this year's CEE, I am full of anticipation and hope for more harvest this year.
