With the high incidence of cancer, people's awareness of maintenance is gradually increasing. Tobacco, alcohol, and radiation are particularly cancer-causing factors, but few people think of "black and white upside down".

We often hear people say that "staying up late causes cancer", and we often hear many people in the news advising others to "never stay up late".

In February 2024, the Journal of Hepatology published a study on the causes of cancer caused by staying up late for the first time, proving that black and white reversal (chronic circadian rhythm disorder) is indeed a human carcinogen.

Circadian rhythm disorder, in fact, is the familiar reversal of the biological clock, the human body will automatically synchronize with the earth's diurnal cycle, the brain originally set an internal clock for 24 hours, when our body's internal clock is out of balance, cancer and many other diseases will follow.

The research team conducted experiments on mice with similar rhythms to human bodies, and found that once the tumor develops spontaneously when the black and white are reversed, the tumor development slows down and inhibits the metastasis of the tumor when the body returns to a normal circadian rhythm. The whole body has entered a virtuous circle again.

In July 2023, a research team from Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, published a study on sleep habits, cancer risk and timing in the well-known journal CancerAn analysis of 50,000 people concluded that too little sleep was strongly associated with an increased risk of cancer. Therefore, in addition to the reversal of black and white, sleep habits are also prone to cancer.

People who slept less than 6 hours had a 41% increased risk of cancer. The risk for women in particular can be as high as 53%.

People who don't take a nap also have a significantly higher risk of cancer. People who never take a nap have a 60% higher risk of cancer than those who take naps for more than an hour.

People who don't take naps and get short nights of sleep have a higher risk of cancer. People who slept less than 6 hours at night and never took a nap had an 82 percent higher risk of cancer compared to participants who slept about 6 to 8 hours at night and took naps for more than one hour.
