Overview of Inconel601 alloy

Inconel 601 alloy is a Ni-Cr-Fe solution-strengthened nickel-based superalloy, in which the Al content reaches 1More than 1wt%, so that it has excellent high temperature oxidation resistance, can be used for a long time in the environment of 1200 °C, excellent high temperature oxidation resistance, good carbonization resistance. It has very good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, and has very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Inconel601 is widely popular in the petrochemical industry and has been effectively used in distillers, condensers, and heaters in the field of fatty acid processing. Due to the control of carbon content and grain size, 601 has a high creep rupture strength, so it is recommended to use 601 in areas above 500. At the same time, an important property of alloy 601 is that it can still have oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1180°C.
