Recently, good news came from the official ** of the World Robot Competition, two high school students from the suburban middle school of Cangxi County in our city, under the careful guidance of the teacher, won the first prize of the "2023 World Robot Competition Finals - Youth Robot Design Competition" Super AI Super Trajectory Competition, which took only 2 minutes and 5 seconds.

What exactly is the finals? How do I prepare before the race? What big problems did you encounter in the process? On the evening of March 3, the reporter contacted Yang Zijun, an information technology teacher at Cangxi County Suburban Middle School, who guided and accompanied the competition.
Contestants battle wits and courage on the field.
Yang Zijun is a post-90s female teacher with 7 years of teaching experience. She told reporters that there are two irregular flight lanes on the map of the finals venue, and students are required to use two robots made by themselves to write programs on the spot, and then start from the starting area of their own choice, and follow the corresponding flight tracks to complete the tasks set on their respective flight tracks, and arrive at the alliance area as soon as possible to complete the competition. Missions include smooth sailing, flight paths, alliance rendezvous, space-time energy transmission, Yaojing science experiments, spacecraft launches, and alliance route planning.
During the competition, there were many teams participating in the competition, the programming time was very tight, and the robot would affect the friction of the two rounds due to the wear and tear of the map, which would affect the trajectory and orientation of the robot, but in the end we still won the final victory, which took only 2 minutes and 5 seconds. Yang Zijun introduced.
Wang Han and Ma Hongkui have made great efforts, and they use their spare time every day to train and study unremittingly, and they are full of love for robotics. Winning the first prize this time is not accidental, but a combination of strength and hard work. I am extremely proud of them and look forward to their continued success in the future of their lives! Yang Zijun said.
According to relevant information, since participating in the Kunming Championship at the end of August and winning the runner-up and qualifying for this competition, Yang Zijun and two students have used their extracurricular time to train every day, constantly optimize the structure of the robot, try every strategy, and use the program to debug and verify over and over again. In the end, I had to borrow accessories from the school next door and assemble them into robots to compete.
