When the people are artificially reckless and humane and clever breeds, the king will rule them with the great way, and not help the heavens with people, so that the people will return to the natural way.

If the king continues to govern with humanity, then virtue will not be born, virtue will not be sufficient, things will not be successful, and there will be no success in the world, so those who do it will be defeated; If we continue to govern humanely, we will surely lose the world.
It is because the saint does nothing, so there is no defeat, and there is no attachment, so there is no loss.
Therefore, the saint guards the avenue, and the auxiliary avenue practices the teachings of speechlessness, no one acts in vain, and the heavens are made of virtue and virtue, so they are invincible;
The saint does not take his own way and humanity as a fool, so he will not lose his morality and distortion, and he will not lose anything.

There will be some people who deviate from morality and morality, and eventually lose their morality and distort themselves, and are trapped in fame and profit;
If you can always be cautious and never leave the weight of the avenue all day long, then the heart of the Tao will be more solid, the morality will be true, and there will be no defeat.

Whatever is based on heaven is the truth.
Those who are based on others are pseudo-science.
Therefore, the saint is dedicated to maintaining a pure heart and few desires, not falling into the rare wealth in the world, not falling into the endless desire of humanity for fame and profit, and not learning the pseudo-science of humanity, so that many people who are lost in the pseudo-science of humanity can regain the avenue, accumulate the virtues of heaven, and support all things by holding the avenue, not acting artificially, so that all things do not lose their virtues, and virtue is what they do, which is what they are.
