It's enlistment season again. On March 6, 60 prospective recruits from Kuiwen District, Weifang City, came to the Weixian Concentration Camp Museum of Ledaoyuan to visit and study and receive patriotic education. During the activity, our museum gave full play to the educational function of the national patriotism education demonstration base, and cultivated the feelings of the country and patriotism by leading the prospective recruits to visit the exhibition and other contents, cast the soul of their national defense, and replenish their "spiritual calcium".
In front of the "Cross Building", under the guidance of the docent, the prospective recruits lined up and walked into the Loeb exhibition hall to visit the special exhibition of Western expatriate concentration camps and the World Anti-Fascist Exhibition and other contents.
Through the heavy tents of the years, through the auspicious light and feathers, the prospective recruits learned about the just struggle of the Western overseas Chinese and the Chinese people to unite against fascism, felt the preciousness of peace by feeling the vicissitudes of history, and engraved the gene of guarding "peace" into the "green" army, which further strengthened their confidence and determination to join the army to serve the country and protect peace.
In the next step, the Weixian Concentration Camp Museum will continue to play the role of soul building and educating people, make good use of museum resources, create social and educational content for different communities, and truly give full play to the museum's "second classroom" and "lifelong education" functions.
