Jenny Brown has announced the appointment of Anne Chuwatt as Global Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary, as well as the appointment of two new Executive Directors.
Chuwat will assume his role on March 2, 2024 and will assume the role of the company's legal**, with primary responsibility for overseeing all legal and regulatory matters for the company's global skincare business.
With regulatory and legal matters playing an increasingly important role in the personal care and cosmetics industries, Chuwat, with 20 years of international experience in the field, will provide strategic advice to Jenny Brown in this particular area.
Built on executive experience.
Chuwat's most recent experience includes the same position at Burger King, where she also served as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at BMG**.
At the same time, the company also appointed Andreasfibig and Dalemorrison to the company's executive board, effective immediately.
Morrison is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of McCainfoods Limited and Fibig is the Chairman of the Board Management Committee of Bayershering Pharma AG.
The appointments of the two executives increase the number of members of the company's board of directors to 12 independent members, bringing the total to 13 with the addition of Jenny Brown CEO Andrerise Borough.
Jenny Brown's growth was driven by developing markets.
Last month, Jenny Brown reported strong sales and profit growth for its skincare division in the second quarter of 2023, thanks to significant growth in its Latin American and Greater Asian markets.
The company said sales revenue rose 10% in the quarter, but that figure fell 1% due to the impact of foreign exchange rates.
Net profit increased by 20%, which would have been higher if it had not been for the impact of the company's restructuring costs and the rising cost of raw materials.
