A group of people forgotten by society, college students who have returned to the countryside due to the closure of colleges and universities!
Due to the closure of schools during the three-year compulsory education period, a group of abandoned people have returned to their hometowns.
A group of young students managed to enter their schools after three years of natural disasters and severe financial difficulties. In order to support agriculture, the urban population has been appropriately redistributed, and 20 million units and enterprise workers have been transferred to the countryside. At the same time, the Ministry of Education is also actively cooperating with the requirements of **, and has carried out the restructuring and closure of some universities. After the school was banned, many of the students moved to the countryside and became farmers again.
Across the country, many colleges and universities have closed down in order to reduce infrastructure spending. In particular, after the dissolution of the school, many schools separated their majors and merged with other schools. As a result, most students who graduate from such institutions return to their hometowns.
Once, I met three college students who had returned to their hometowns. A student graduated from a university in Zhengzhou, majoring in civil engineering and architecture. After returning to his hometown, he went to work in the brigade. After that, he went to work as a private teacher in a village school, and then transferred to a middle school in the township to teach. He worked as a tutor for 30 years, transferred to public school in 1993, and retired after a year of service.
A young man was admitted to a college in Wuhan, Hubei Province, but he only studied for two years, and because the school was closed, he was sent back to his hometown to join the brigade. His father used to be an old Chinese medicine doctor, so he followed his father to learn medical skills, and after retiring, he opened a pharmacy in the village and became a well-known doctor in the neighborhood, especially for the diagnosis and treatment of vitiligo.
There is also a young man studying nuclear physics in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, because the Soviet Union terminated the contract and the school was merged, the subject was stopped, and his classmates also returned to their hometown. Because he has been in school for three years, and because of the time, he was hired by the county to teach in the county No. 1 middle school, and he was just a private teacher at the beginning. Later, he finally became a public school teacher.
Many of them were transferred from other places, some were sent to study when they were about to graduate, and some stayed behind. After the reform and opening up, students who were assigned to various localities were given junior high school in the first grade, junior high school in the second grade, and junior college in the third grade, depending on the situation. However, if you want to work in agriculture, then your diploma is of no use.
Now, most of the students who were sent here are dead, and those who are still alive are in their nineties. Like the descenders and laborers of that time, they also made great sacrifices at that time.
Are there any absent-minded college students around you like you?
