Unemployment insurance is an insurance policy that many people overlook. If you have the idea of leaving your job, you must figure out this insurance to avoid losses.
The prerequisite for receiving unemployment benefits is involuntary unemployment.
Involuntary unemployment, that is, resignation that is not due to personal reasons, is not eligible for unemployment benefits.
If you have the idea of leaving your job because you are not doing well in the unit, and you write a resignation report by yourself, you will definitely not get unemployment benefits.
If the employer lays you off, or the contract expires, you can get unemployment insurance for both reasons.
The prerequisite is that the employer should write these two reasons on the reason for your departure, that is, the redundancy or the expiration of the contract.
Communicate well with the unit before leaving, and the two parties will negotiate well, and the unit is willing to write two reasons for being able to get unemployment insurance on the reason for the reduction.
There are certain conditions for receiving unemployment insurance money.
In order for an unemployed person to receive unemployment insurance money, three conditions need to be met:
1. The employer and the applicant have paid unemployment insurance premiums for one year before becoming unemployed. If you have paid unemployment insurance for less than one year, you will not receive unemployment insurance money.
2. Interruption of employment not due to one's will, or interruption of employment without one's will, is to be laid off or the contract expires.
3. Have been registered as unemployed and have job search requirements. If the employer states on your test reason that it is eligible for unemployment insurance, you also need to register with the unemployment insurance department. Unemployment insurance benefits will only be paid to unemployed persons who are willing to seek employment and have undergone re-employment training.
The maximum period of a single payment of unemployment insurance benefits is 24 months, which means that the unemployment is not limited to 24 months for life.
If you find a job again and participate in the insurance again, and become unemployed again and meet the application conditions, you can continue to apply for unemployment insurance benefits.
If you were able to receive 24 months last time, but only 12 months, you will be re-employed.
The remaining 12 months can also be added to the next unemployment.
There is also a time limit for receiving unemployment benefits, that is, the longer you pay, the longer you will enjoy.
Before becoming unemployed, the unit and the person accumulated the payment time in accordance with the regulations:
1.If you have been receiving unemployment insurance benefits for up to 12 months but less than 5 years, you can have up to a year to find a job.
2.If the cumulative payment period is 5 years but less than 10 years, the maximum period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 18 months, and the unemployment benefits can be received for one and a half years after paying for five years, which is also very considerable.
3.If the cumulative payment period is more than 10 years, the maximum period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 24 months, and they can receive unemployment insurance benefits for two years.
And now the unemployment benefits are also very high, about the same as the minimum wage. The minimum wage on our side is 2,060 yuan per month.
Receiving unemployment benefits for 24 months is also worth 40,000 or 50,000 yuan, and you will also pay medical insurance during the period of unemployment, so you don't have to pay for medical insurance yourself, and you will save a fee.
If you find a job during the period of unemployment and are re-employed, you should take the initiative to inform the social security agency to stop receiving unemployment benefits, and you will be legally responsible for fraudulently obtaining unemployment insurance benefits.
Receiving unemployment benefits is just a transition to finding a job, helping you get through temporary financial difficulties and leaving some buffer for you to find a job, and you can't get unemployment benefits for the sake of receiving unemployment benefits.
In addition, the average business does not welcome people who receive unemployment benefits, because they believe that such people are not stable.
And companies generally don't let employees get unemployment insurance easily.
Because some employees get unemployment insurance, other employees will follow suit, affecting the stability of the company's employees.
Moreover, there are too many people who get unemployment insurance money, and the social security department will think that the stability of enterprise personnel is too poor, which will affect the enterprise to obtain stable job subsidies.
In some places, the condition for returning the job stabilization subsidy is that the layoff rate of the enterprise cannot exceed 20% of the insured personnel, which also shows that the unemployment insurance does not require the enterprise to pay a penny, but the enterprise does not want the employee to get unemployment insurance.
