There are many ways to clear the cartridge of the Brother 2250dn printer, and the following provides three different methods.
Method 1: Open the front cover of the printer and make sure the printer is turned off and disconnected from the power supply.
Press and hold the "Go" button of the printer while powering on the printer until all the lights are on.
Release the "Go" button, at which point all the printer's lights should turn off.
Press the "Go" button three more times, and after each press, the "ready" indicator will flash once.
Close the front cover of the printer and restart the printer so that the toner cartridge is cleared.
Method 2: Open the top cover of the printer and find the "reset gear" inside the printer.
Gently press down on the "reset gear" with your finger or needle until it turns to the point.
Close the top cover of the printer and press and hold the "Reset Key" on the printer panel.
Press the "Go" key and the printer will begin the reset operation, after which it will display "accepted".
Press the "Go" button again and the printer will automatically restart. Once the zeroing operation is complete, the printer's toner cartridge will be reset to a new state and can continue to be used.
Method 3: Open the top cover of the printer and make sure the printer is turned off and disconnected from the power supply.
Press and hold the "Go" button of the printer while powering on the printer until all the printer's lights are on.
Release the "Go" button, then close the top cover of the printer and wait for a while until all the printer's lights are off.
Open the top lid of the printer again, and the printer's toner cartridge should be cleared. Close the top lid of the printer and restart the printer.
Please note that the zeroing operation may void the printer's warranty, so it is recommended not to do so during the warranty period. At the same time, the clearance operation is not necessarily effective, if the prompt message still appears after clearing, it is recommended to replace the toner cartridge in time or seek professional repair help.
