The second feeling, the lawyer, is not so useless as everyone thinks, but it is not as powerful as everyone thinks, we can't say black to white, and a guilty person must be turned innocent, in fact, there is a sentence called based on facts, with the law as the criterion, this sentence actually really has its meaning, that is, we still can't change the facts, and the role of our lawyers is to try to help the parties restore the facts, restore the truth, Let our client get a more fair verdict, make sure that the punishment is commensurate with the crime, and don't let him get an excessively heavy punishment.
In fact, the purpose of the law, you say that it is to punish crimes, I think a greater purpose is to save, to save this person, so that after he is punished, there will be some adjustments, corrections, to prevent him from making other bigger mistakes in the future, and the most important purpose is actually to save this person.
