During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Wan (Nanyang) Ying (Jiangling Ji Nancheng, Hubei Province) post road runs through Xinye County, reaches Wanluo in the north, and reaches Jingxiang in the south. The county border is also located in the middle and lower reaches of the White River, Tang River and Tuan River, and the sailing ships come and go like weaving, and the water and land transportation is still convenient. **During the year, the highways from Nanyang to Xiangfan and Xinye to Zaoyang, Hubei Province were built. Most of the roads from the county seat to the township are small lanes, narrow and curved, and bumpy. In 1930, the Xinye section of the Xinye-Nanyang Highway was rerouted, and the original route from Qingyang, Dongzhaozhuang, Luozhuang, and Tongshudian was changed to the county boundary through Longbei, Lihu, Shayan, Chewan, and Xiaguanying.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, three highways were renovated, namely Nanfan, Xindeng and Xintang, and simple roads from the county seat to the township. By 1985, the county built 18 roads, 280 long6 km. Among them, the black sub-premium pavement is 813 km. 45 bridges were built, with a length of 222456 meters. At the same time as the development of land transportation, the management system of the river, the inspection and registration of sailboats, and the dredging of the river have all been reformed and improved. In 1968, after the Tangbai River was suspended, the ship was transferred to the Han River. At present, there are 8 towns, 5 townships, 2 streets, and 270 administrative villages (communities) in the county.
Starting from Nanyang City, enter the country at Xinye's Xintongshudian, and pass through Chewan, Jiaodian, Shayan, Lihu, Chengcheng, Baiheqiao, Sanchakou, Xiaqu, Pangdian, and Xindianpu to stop the Huangqu River. Overall length 785 km, the new wilderness section is 46 miles long8 kilometers, the urban section of the road is intersected with the provincial highway and the county and township roads, and the traffic volume in the busy season is as high as 4000-4500 trips day and night. In May 1984, the Highway Bureau of the Provincial Department of Transportation approved the Xinyecheng Road section, 3,100 meters from the bearing plant to the fertilizer plant, from the original ** road widening to a road, the roadbed is 33 meters wide, the road surface is 21 meters wide, of which the fast lane is 14 meters wide, and the slow lane is set up on both sides 35 meters. The fast and slow lanes are separated by a 1-meter flower bed. The bottom layer of the pavement is stabilized with quicklime, and the pavement is asphalt gravel, 5 cm thick. After the nineties of the last century, the urban section was Chaoyang Road.
Located on the east side of Chaoyang Road in Xinye County, the station was built in 1952 and the original site was at the north end of Dongguan Street. It was built in Chaoyang Road in 1972. Covers an area of 390,000 square meters, with a construction area of 2,900 square meters. The west side of the street is the waiting hall, the east side of the waiting room is the parking lot, there is a north-south office building and workshop on the north side of the field, there is a staff canteen on the south side and west side, and there are dormitory buildings, guest houses and gas stations on the east side.
In October 1959, Xinye County and Chengguan Town tried to produce a nearly 100-meter-long wooden carriage driven by an electric motor in the Beiguan Brigade Section (now the Yucai Street Section of the Urban District) with chestnut and brick slag, coffin board as sleepers, and fir purlin as a track, which can load 500 kilograms of goods and carry 10 people. Leaders of the Nanyang Prefectural Party Committee and the Special Administration and the secretaries of the Party committees of all counties and communes in the region attended the opening ceremony of the Turkish Railway. The Henan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee sent congratulatory messages. On December 2, the Xinye County Party Committee issued a call for "running the soil railway and realizing the trackization of field transportation", requiring all communes to organize the masses to build the earth railway. By March 1960, the county had built a total of 54 earthen railways (rails, wooden tracks, brick rails, bamboo rails) with a total length of 99 kilometers. Due to the poor quality of the earthen railway, it was unusable except for a section about 200 meters long that could transport a small amount of goods except for a section of about 200 meters long in the Jiangli Brigade of the suburban commune, and soon all of them were abandoned.
It is located in Shangzhuang, Xinye Prefecture. Before liberation, it was the pipeline intersection of Nanyang-Xiangyang, Dengxian-Tanghe, forming the intersection of "ten", so it was also called Siluzhi. In the Han Dynasty, there was a market town, named Taiping Town, and it was a market every day.

It is located in the northwest corner of Xinye County, on the east bank of the White River. This port was originally near the Shuifu Temple in the southwest corner of the county, and the flood destroyed the port in 1919 and migrated here. Because it is the Baihe wharf near the county seat, there are Hongtai Gong, Shu Shunmao, Zhang Hongtang, Zhang Lizhong, Qi Guolan price sailing in Hong Kong, and there are more than 100 sailboats berthed every day. The more famous business names in the county, such as Vice Houkang, Dingshengde, Dayoude, Taiyuan Heng, Yifeng Ting, Chengchengxin, Gongyi Heng, Huitong, etc., all set up inns here. Porters are in groups, and merchants are bustling with them. There are also dozens of restaurants and dry shops. The freight yard, the first yard, and the ship repair yard stretch for several miles, and the goods are transported out of many local specialties, including industrial products, salt, oil, timber, bamboo, etc. After 1958, due to the sharp decline in the flow of the Baihe River, water transportation declined day by day, and the port was abandoned.
It is located on the west bank of the White River in Xinye County. ** In 1925, the Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company set up a location here to purchase tobacco. **In 1926, the company entrusted the prosperous wharf of "Tongkang Tobacco Company" in Deng County to be abandoned.
It is located 20 kilometers north of Xinye County. Before liberation, cotton, soybeans, sesame oil, peanuts, etc. were shipped here every year. After the White River was suspended, the wharf was abandoned.
It is located in the lower reaches of the White River in Xinye County, and most passing ships are moored here. **In the early years, the stone step wharf was built. In the thirties and forties of the last century, the Baihe River was abundant, and some merchants in Hankou and Xiangfan used to buy tobacco, cotton, soybeans, peanuts and other agricultural and sideline products here, and local merchants also purchased agricultural and sideline products and shipped them to Hankou. In the fifties, it was still one of the grain and cotton collection and transportation places, and the county set up coal yards and timber yards here. After the White River was suspended, the wharf was abandoned.
