With regard to the innocent murder of a mainland fisherman, the mainland side has held 12 rounds of dialogue and consultation with the Taiwan authorities, and it can be said that sincerity has been filled. However, it is a pity that the Taiwan authorities not only did not appreciate the situation, but also tried to show a so-called "hard-line attitude" by transferring the GC128 "Yilan" warship, which was originally in the waters off Taipei, to the Taiwan Strait and moving in the direction of Kinmen.

However, the "Yilan" ship soon stopped moving forward and began to linger in the middle of the Taiwan Strait.

The "Yilan" ship hovered directly in the middle of the Taiwan Strait.

It turned out that in addition to more than a dozen coast guard ships, including the 2103, 2202, and 2203 ships that were originally on duty in the Xiajin-Jin waters, the mainland coast guard was also constantly increasing troops in the direction of Kinmen.

Equipped with 76 mm naval guns and a displacement of 3,000 tons, the Type 818 Coast Guard Ship 3306 has also gone north overnight to reinforce in the direction of Kinmen.

The Type 818 Coast Guard ship uses a similar ship type to the Chinese Navy's Type 054A missile frigate, so it is also known as the "Coast Guard version of 054A". Although it is not equipped with any anti-ship missiles or anti-aircraft missiles, the ship is equipped with a 76-mm naval gun, and its overall firepower is far stronger than that of the "Yilan" ship, which is only equipped with 40-mm guns and 20-mm guns.

The Haijing 3306 has been enforcing laws in the South China Sea and has very rich experience in maritime confrontation and law enforcement. The appearance of the Haijing 3306 is precisely the reason why the "Yilan" ship is stagnant in the Taiwan Strait, and the essence of the Taiwan authorities can also be seen from this.

In addition to the Haijing 3306 ship, the mainland also dispatched the "Sansha No. 1," which can transport more than 500 people and has a displacement of 8,000 tons, to the Xiajin Sea to be responsible for "pressing the formation." Judging from the current situation, the mainland's law enforcement forces in the waters of Xiajin have completely suppressed the Taiwan authorities.

Under these circumstances, the mainland side has also put forward a suggestion to the Taiwan authorities, that is, to deal with the innocent killing of mainland fishermen in accordance with the handling method of the "Guangxing No. 28" incident.

On May 9, 2013, the Taiwan Provincial fishing vessel "Guangxing 28" was shot at by a Philippine official ship in the overlapping economic waters between Taiwan and the Philippines, and the crew member Hong Shicheng was shot and killed by the Philippine side. At the beginning, the Philippine side has been playing prevarication, unwilling to apologize, let alone compensate.

Subsequently, the Taiwan authorities at that time dispatched the "Tainan," "Fuxing," "Patrol No. 1," "Kangding," "Haiyang," and other law enforcement and combat vessels to form a joint fleet to the area where the incident occurred to deter the Philippines. It also imposed 11 sanctions on the Philippine side, successfully forcing the Philippine National Bureau of Investigation to indict eight people involved in the case for homicide.

At the same time, the Pingtung District Prosecutor's Office in Taiwan Province also charged Philippine Coast Guard officers with homicide. Eight Filipino people were convicted of homicide and sentenced to prison terms ranging from 8 years and 1 day to 14 years, 8 months and 1 day. The Philippines made a formal apology.

Personally, I think that this request we put forward this time can be said to be very reasonable. Taiwan's "Coast Guard" does not have the so-called "law enforcement powers" in the Xiamen-Jin waters, and in addition, there is more and more evidence that it is suspected that it deliberately rammed a mainland fishing boat, which eventually led to the death of two mainland fishermen. The Coast Guard is suspected of intentional homicide and should be investigated and sentenced. Of course, the return of the bodies of the fishermen who were killed, a public apology and compensation are also necessary.

However, Guan Biling, chairman of Taiwan's Oceanic Council, still said that the Kinmen capsizing incident should be brought to an end as soon as possible, and that this incident is completely different from the case of the "Guangxing 28," and "there is no problem of negligent death at all." It seems that in the Xiamen-Jin waters, our side should also put on a tougher posture and a stronger force, so that the Taiwan authorities can fully realize their mistakes and make a public apology and compensation as soon as possible.
