Recently, Mr. Wang (pseudonym), who is in his 50s, has repeated headaches and half of his body is weak. At first, he didn't care, thinking it was due to not getting a good rest. Early the next morning, the family found that Mr. Wang, who usually got up early, had not gotten up for a long time, and went forward to check, he was already confused, and the family hurriedly contacted 120 and sent him to Tianyou Hospital affiliated to Wuhan University of Science and Technology.
The attending doctor highly suspected the patient's cerebral hemorrhage, and immediately opened the green channel of the stroke center for emergency examination, and the head CT showed that there was intracranial subarachnoid hemorrhage and right subdural hemorrhage, and he was urgently sent to the neurosurgery department of the hospital. After completing the relevant examinations, Jin Shengxi, director of the neurosurgery department of the hospital, judged that Mr. Wang had a ruptured intracranial aneurysm, and immediately formulated a surgical plan for Mr. Wang.

With the close cooperation of the neurosurgery team and the anesthesia team, the doctors successfully performed cerebral angiography and transcatheter intracranial aneurysm embolization for Mr. Wang. On the second day after surgery, Mr. Wang was conscious, his limbs were able to move independently, his headache disappeared, and his blood pressure returned to the normal range.
In the past week, nearly 10 patients with cerebral aneurysms have been admitted. Jin Shengxi said that once the intracranial aneurysm ruptures and bleeds, the mortality rate and disability rate are extremely high, and the high incidence season of cerebral aneurysm rupture is when the weather changes in winter and spring every year.
Experts remind that high-risk groups with long-term hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and high blood sugar are recommended to have regular checkups. Symptoms such as headache and stiff neck may occur due to enlarged cerebral aneurysm and a small amount of bleeding, which requires vigilance. Sudden onset of severe unexplained headache or nausea and vomiting should prompt suspicion of ruptured intracranial aneurysm. The most important and life-saving action at this time is to call 120 immediately. While waiting for the 120 ambulance, try to lie flat with the patient on one side of the head.
