There is an ancient temple in China, the temple is not big, there is an armed police standing guard 24 hours a day, what is the "outstanding"?

In Beijing, a vast city with thousands of stories, there are many mysterious and esoteric legends. Among them, a particularly thought-provoking prophecy is: "Tanzhe Temple will be completed first, and Beijing City will follow".

Tanzhe Temple, an ancient temple with a long history of 1,700 years, although it does not have a gorgeous reputation, it carries an indescribable legendary fate. Located in the Tougou Mountains of western Beijing, overlooking Baozhu Peak, it is built on the mountain and surrounded by verdant bamboo forests.

This land rich in aura is named "Tan Zhe" because it is full of trees. Tanzhe Temple, is this ancient holy place, as early as the Western Jin Dynasty Yongjia period, it began to emerge. At that time, it was just a small temple known as "Jiafuji Temple". Although it does not have such a loud name as "Tanzhe Temple" today, the incense here has never been interrupted because of the outstanding people of the earth.

It was a time of social upheaval, and the people longed for the protection of the gods. The humble Jiafu Temple became a place of hope for them, and although there were few pilgrims, they were blessed for their sincere faith.

In the past, there was only the sound of the footsteps of pious pilgrims on the ancient land, and the smoke of incense filled the sacred realm ......

In this land, although there are no legends, it retains its true and lasting power because of its simplicity.

A fortuitous adventure forged eternal memory. After the martyrdom, the Son of Heaven changed again.

Zhu Di settled in Beijing, but the unhealthy feeling of seizing the throne has always lingered.

If you stand on this land, the people may be intoxicated by the sound of drums, but it is difficult to forget the historical footprints of this place.

As a result, the issue of the relocation of the new capital began to brew.

The new city needs to be reorganized by the mountains and rivers to get away from the bloody wind of the old capital.

The balance of fate finally began to tilt, and this land of Beijing, which was full of aura, became the place of nostalgia for the prince when he hunted in the north.

His henchman Yao Guangxiao was ordered to take the lead in the expedition to explore the treasure of feng shui.

Yao Guangxiao went north on a mission and embarked on a journey of bad luck in this strange place.

He must find a suitable feng shui treasure in this strange land, just like King Wen of Zhou in ancient times cast a tripod in Qishan.

Otherwise, the construction of the new capital could not be carried out, and his guilt would not be able to escape.

In confusion, Yao Guangxiao met a wise monk and led him to a small temple at the foot of Tanzhe Mountain to pray.

The two communicated for a long time, and Yao Guangxiao's eyes suddenly brightened.

Originally, the temple was imposing, and the towering gatehouse resembled a palace.

In a bygone era, there was a large-scale, elaborately structured building with an impressive design achievement, which is exactly what we can draw inspiration from in Xinjing.

From then on, Yao Guangxiao began to shape the face of the city with great ambition, and by simulating the pattern of small temples, he created magnificent city gate pavilions such as Zhengyang Gate and Chongwen Gate.

The silhouette of the mountains can be faintly seen inside the palace, as if you are strolling in the small temple of the pond.

Subsequent generations of emperors were fascinated by the inspiration inspired by the temple and visited it often.

Gradually, the temple developed into part of the Imperial Garden, where the emperors walked and recuperated.

As time passed, the scenery continued to change, and the surroundings were filled with incense, as if the pond was like a world.

This is enough to prove that a flash of inspiration can inspire the construction of the entire city;

An adventure has the potential to create an eternal legend.

When Yao Guangxiao discovered this treasure land, how could he have thought that centuries later, this small temple would still flourish?

In the 17th century, the Kangxi Emperor visited the temple and gave it the name "Xiuyun", which means auspiciousness.

However, the folk still retain the title of "Tan Zhe", which is both cordial and simple.

This also reflects the simple and rustic folk customs of the people of Beijing, who cherish this humble and sacred land more than those complicated palaces.

Why has Tanzhe Temple now become an important garrison of the armed police?

The Tanzhe Temple in front of you is no longer the quiet and serene appearance it was at the beginning. In its place is the defense system of the armed police, which is like a tight military base.

Every morning, when the morning light shines through the gaps in the trees on the Tanzhe Temple, painting a picture of tranquility and purity, the armed police have already begun their day's patrol.

They are ready to go, carefully inspect communication equipment and **, make sure that everything is on high alert. This has been a normative process that has been in place for many years, and it has been executed as smoothly as a machine.

The duties of the guardians propelled them forward, but in reality, their hearts were always watching over the small Tanzhe Temple.

The route of the patrol is vivid, as they weave through gravel paths and through lush forests. Surrounded by green bamboo, the eaves of the temple loom in the distance. The contrast between this clear green and their strong armament highlights the preciousness of this peaceful place.

So, why are there armed police stationed 24 hours a day? There are two reasons for this:

First of all, because the guests here are extraordinary.

The pure land of Tanzhe Temple has always exuded a unique charm that attracts dignitaries and celebrities. It is only 30 kilometers from the center of Beijing, but it is like a paradise. Envoys from all over the world often come here, perhaps to find the true face of the land beneath the surface of prosperity. When they stepped into this place, they couldn't help but be in awe when they faced the thousand-year-old incense. Worldly honors and disgraces, gains and losses, seem to have become insignificant at this moment.

All thinking and imagining goes back to the original source in the depths of the soul.

Therefore, safety is especially paramount in this place.

The armed police are always vigilant to ensure the dignity and safety of every distinguished guest.

Secondly, Tantuo Temple has many precious cultural relics.

In the west corner of the Dragon King's Hall, a huge stone fish hangs.

It is pitch black and 17 meters and weighs up to 150 kg.

On the surface, it looks like it was made of raw copper, but if you look closely, it is covered with traces of time, and it is obviously a stone that has been precipitated for thousands of years.

When struck, it makes a crisp sound, as if it is alive.

Where did this mysterious stone fish come from?

Behind this peculiar stone, there is a legendary story.

Legend has it that it was once a spirit fish dedicated to the Jade Emperor by the Dragon King of the South China Sea.

Resides in the Heavenly Courtyard Yao Pond and bathes in the glow every day.

In a great drought, the world suffered from famine, and the Jade Emperor ordered this spirit fish to go down to save the common people.

At the moment of lightning and thunder, a brilliant light whistled down, and the mountains and rivers seemed to tremble.

The monks in the Tanzhe Temple heard the sound and were surprised to see a huge strange fish falling from the sky.

The next morning, the strange fish had turned into a stone fish lying quietly.

This mysterious stone contains the aura of heaven and earth, and has an unusual influence on the rise and fall of nations.

Tapping on the 72 places on the body of the fish, you can feel the drought in the 63 provinces in the south and north.

As soon as you tap it, the sky resounds with a crisp and delicate sound of rain, falling like musical notes.

It is this mysterious inductive power that has fundamentally solved the drought disaster and enabled the country to live and work in peace and contentment.

This magical power also makes the incense of Tanzhe Temple continuous, and the moon has been sparkling for thousands of years, reflecting a silver world.

The story eventually returns to tranquility, like a silent rock.

We may also be one of the rocks, silently watching and guarding the reassuring beauty in the chaotic world.

In the Guanyin Hall of Tanzhe Temple, the golden and brilliant scene comes into view.

However, only one old blue brick stands out at the corner of the hall, and the silhouette of two clearly visible footprints is still distinct.

This green brick is known as the "princess worship brick", and it contains a poignant story.

She was originally a prominent Mongolian princess, but she experienced great suffering in her glory and wealth.

Witnessing the wanton slaughter of his father's iron cavalry under Kublai Khan, countless living beings wailed.

This cruelty and nightmare stung the princess's heart deeply every day.

Finally, on a rainy night, she came to Tanzhe Temple with her pain and completely got rid of the golden wire cage of the palace.

The princess knelt in prayer at the Guanyin Hall, and her tears could not be stopped.

She begged Guanyin for guidance, only to hear her inner cry echoing ......

My father had created too many sins, and he had to atone for them with a lifetime of penance.

As the daughter of the emperor, she has suffered too many evil consequences, and she can only change her past mistakes.

So, year after year, she prayed to the statue until two deep imprints were left on the blue brick floor.

This silent evidence is reminiscent of the wounds of history.

Seated statue of Shakyamuni.

This Buddha statue is the pinnacle of Mr. Puru's life in exchange.

He was originally an old man of the Qing Dynasty, indifferent to fame and fortune, found a peaceful place in the war, and devoted himself to becoming a monk.

The days in the monastery were quiet and simple, yet he could not forget them.

The rise and fall of a generation of emperors, the family of the clan was ruined.

In order to atone for these sins, he made up his mind to paint an icon with his own blood as ink.

For several months, he had a pure heart and few desires, did not touch a little salt, and used a blank piece of paper to stain his own blood one by one.

Drops of blood were sprinkled on the Buddha statue.

His soul was purified, and this pain turned into redemption for the sins of history.

When the Buddha statue was completed, he knelt on the ground and bowed to ...... reverently

As long as Tanzhe Temple stands, the world will still stand in a clear and pure place.

It can refine the dust of the soul and restore the true self.

Perhaps one day, the figure of the armed police will retire, and the pure land of the gods will never be exhausted.

I hope that at that time, people will not need to be guarded by others, so that they can regain their peaceful and pure inner countryside.
