According to the report, in 2023, fitness studios will be popular with consumers, and yoga and Pilates workouts will usher in a peak period. As of December 2023, there were 69.75 million offline paid fitness members nationwide, down 238%, but the frequency of exercise has increased to a certain extent, and the average number of monthly workouts for class members (active members) has reached 441 times, which is already close to the level of 2019. In 2023, the number of generalized fitness venues in the country will be about 1170,000, including 36,447 commercial fitness clubs and 42,177 fitness studios.

The report also shows that the proportion of male fitness consumers has increased, but women are still the main force in the fitness consumer market. Consumers aged 26-35 are the main group of fitness consumers, accounting for 41 of the country's fitness consumers01%;followed by middle-aged people aged 36-50, accounting for 2704%。It is worth noting that the proportion of fitness consumers in the group over 50 years old is compared with 2022**18%, which means that more elderly people are beginning to enter the fitness consumer market.
