Virtual simulation of hoisting operations Create an efficient and safe training experience

Mondo Education Updated on 2024-03-06

Hoisting operation is one of the eight special operations, that is, the use of overhead cranes, gantry cranes, tower cranes, truck cranes, lifts and other lifting equipment to lift heavy objects, and make the position of heavy objects change the operation. In the chemical industry, lifting is a common and critical job.

However, due to the high-risk factors involved in hoisting operations such as heavy load handling and high-altitude work, the skills and safety awareness of operators are extremely high. In order to improve the safety and efficiency of hoisting operations, Beijing OBIER has developed a 3D virtual training software for hoisting operation safety, which can not only provide an efficient learning platform for practitioners, but also create a safe and worry-free training experience.

Principles & Requirements

Strictly abide by the principle of "ten do not hang" in lifting operations

1.If the command signal is unclear, it will not be hoisted;

2.Overload or unknown weight of hanging objects, connected to other heavy objects, frozen with other objects and not hanging;

3.The rope is knotted, the rope is uneven, and the crooked pull is not hanging;

4.The scene is dark and the light is dark, and the site is not clear, and the hanging objects are not hanging;

5.There are people floating objects or crane arms on the hanging objects, hooks or hanging objects, and there are people below the hanging objects who do not hang;

6.Hanging objects buried in the ground or hooked with the building are not hanging;

7.Hanging objects**, hanging is not firm, hanging is unbalanced, and is not hanging;

8.Edged objects are not hoisted without padding protective measures;

9.The safety device fails or does not hang when sick;

10.No hanging in strong winds above level 6.

Requirements for cranes

1.All cranes should be inspected by the technical equipment department before entering the job site;

2.There is an annual inspection certificate issued by the technical supervision department;

3.The truck crane has a valid driving certificate issued by the public security vehicle management department;

4.The crane load capacity sign should be set in a position that is easy to observe by the operator and kept clear;

5.The crane should be equipped with a dry powder fire extinguisher;

6.The safety devices on the crane (torque limiter, limiter, buffer, braking device, alarm device, hook sling anti-disconnection device, anti-collision device, windproof device, etc.) are kept in good condition.

With its efficient, safe and personalized characteristics, the virtual hoisting operation has brought a revolutionary change to the training and learning of hoisting operation. Through virtual technology, a real, safe and efficient training environment can be created for students, so that they can master hoisting skills in a short time and improve safety awareness.
