Chen Guixiang, a survivor of Nanjing Da**, died on March 5, 2024, at the age of 99. Her story is not only a testimony to that dark history, but also an ode to the resilience of human nature.

In 2011, she even went to Hiroshima, Japan, to tell the Japanese people about the history of Nanjing. Chen Guixiang has a deep understanding of the strength of the motherland, and she attaches great importance to the education of her children, teaching them to protect their families and defend the country. Even in her later years, she lost sight due to diabetes, but she still maintained an optimistic attitude and faced life with a smile. Her strength and optimism have not only influenced her children, but also inspired everyone who knows her story.
