IT Home reported on March 7 that Apple once again banned the developer account of Epic GamesHe also said that the company's account has been banned globally.

On February 17, Epic announced that it had taken back its Apple developer account and was preparing to develop the Epic Games Store on iOS, with plans to launch it in 2024.

Apple then issued a statement saying:

Epic's material breach of its contractual obligations to Apple led to a court ruling that Apple has the right to terminate its developer account "at any time and in its sole discretion," including any or all wholly owned subsidiaries, affiliates, and other entities controlled by Epic Games. Given Epic's past and present behavior, Apple has chosen to exercise this right.

In a letter to Epic, Apple's lawyers said that Epic had proven "not credible." Apple says there is no guarantee that Epic will comply with the terms and conditions of the Apple Developer Program going forward.

Epic said in a press release that Apple's termination of Swedish developer accounts was a "serious violation" of the Digital Markets Act, indicating that Apple has no intention of allowing real competition on iOS devices.

Epic replied.

Apple's termination of Epic's developer account is purging one of Apple's biggest potential competitors from the App Store. They are undermining our ability to be a viable competitor.

They are "flexing their muscles" to other developers, showing that this is the end of anyone who tries to compete with Apple or criticize Apple's unfair practices.
