As a result, Xue Gong worked harder to herd cattle for his master and help with farming. He was honest and kind, and begged his master to give him this wasteland.
The owner readily agreed, and Xue Gong reclaimed a vacant land here and built a thatched house.
A few years later, his wife was giving birth in the house, when suddenly it rained heavily in the sky, the thatched house leaked, and a flock of crows and magpies stopped on the roof, just to cover the leak.
It happened that two officials passed by, hiding from the rain in the house, the torrential rain stopped, and the baby was born, a white and chubby boy.
The official praised: "Xue Gong, our yamen protects the door, and the magpie shelters him from the rain, this child will be rich and noble in the future, congratulations." ”
Xue Gong was overjoyed when he heard this, but as the child grew up, he did not see the wealth.
He was rough in appearance and dull in manners, and he was still so at the age of eighteen, because he was too wooden, and no one wanted to marry his daughter to him.
In that year, the imperial court conducted a conscription, and he was not chosen, but a rich son was drafted.
The naïve young man found the rich man and said, "I am willing to go to the conscription in the place of your son, as long as you marry your son's maid to me." ”

Life is full of variables, how rich and rich, fate is impermanent. Everything is determined by Heaven's will.
As Professor Wang Defeng of Fudan University said, "It is foolish to believe in fate before the age of forty, and it is a lack of understanding to not believe in fate after the age of forty." ”
The well-being and destiny of life is not something we can fully control. "Everyone's life has its own destiny, all blessings and misfortunes lie in the moment, only live every day, enjoy every meal leisurely, and do not be greedy or robbed.
04. The happiness and well-being that everyone obtains are affected by fate. There is a relative who lost his parents when he was a child, was raised by his uncle, lived under the protection of others, and suffered a lot.
After getting married and having children, he welcomed two healthy and lovely sons, although life is still not easy, he is relieved that his wife is virtuous and capable, and his son is smart and diligent, he is in a difficult situation, but his heart is full of sweetness.
The eldest son was successfully admitted to a prestigious school, settled in Hangzhou, had an enviable high-paying job, and bought a house with his own efforts four years later, forming a happy family.

People are not afraid of death, and they are not afraid of death.

Therefore, the food of life, the accumulation of wealth, and the enjoyment of happiness are all fixed numbers, and we can only make unremitting self-cultivation in order to achieve perfection, which is what we can do.
