Hello and welcome to today's health adventure! In the previous sharing, we followed the footsteps of the Yellow Emperor and Qi Bo to gain an in-depth understanding of the mysteries of ancient Chinese medicine for the three parts and nine phases of the human body. Today, we will continue this magical journey of exploration, together on how to judge life and death by waiting for a consultation, as well as the profound wisdom of ancient Chinese medicine about the appearance of form and qi and the change of pulse. This knowledge is not only the inheritance of ancient Chinese medicine culture, but also an important guide for our modern life. So, let's follow the dialogue between the Yellow Emperor and Qi Bo and open the door to health today!
The Yellow Emperor asked Qi Bo: "How do you wait for a doctor to judge your condition?" Qi Bo replied, "First of all, we must observe the patient's body fat and thin, so as to adjust the judgment of his qi and blood deficiency. If the patient's qi and blood are solid, the laxative method is used; If qi and blood are deficient, use the tonic method. Before conditioning, it is necessary to remove stasis in the blood veins. No matter what the disease is, the goal is to return to a normal state. ”
The Yellow Emperor asked again: "How to judge life and death?" "If the patient is plump but has a weak pulse and is short of breath, it is very dangerous. If the body is emaciated but the pulse is large, and there is a lot of qi in the chest, this is also a death disease. Only when the body is in harmony with the pulse can the patient be alive. If the pulse is out of order, it is a symptom. The pulses of the three parts and nine signs are out of coordination, and it is also a dead disease. If the upper, left, and right pulses contradict each other like a paragonomics, the condition is very serious. If the degree of imbalance of the pulse is beyond count, it is also a dead disease. Even if the pulse of the central part of the body is harmonized on its own, if it is not in harmony with the pulse of other organs, it is also a dead disease. If the pulse in the middle of the weather gradually weakens, it is also a dead disease. An inverted eye is also a sign of death. ”
The Yellow Emperor continued to ask: "How can we know the location of the lesion?" Qi Bo said: "You can know it by observing the changes in the pulse of the nine candidates. If the pulse in a certain part is very small, very large, very fast, very slow, especially hot, especially cold, or particularly sunken, it means that there is a lesion in that area. If there is a phenomenon of substitution and hook pulse, it means that the lesion is in the choroid. The pulses of the nine candidates should be coordinated with each other, and if there is a pulse that is not coordinated with the others, it means that there is a lesion in the area. If the pulses of two or three signs are not coordinated, the condition is more serious or dangerous. ”
To determine the time limit of a patient's life and death," Qi Bo continued, "it is necessary to understand the function of the viscera and the condition of the meridians. Only by mastering the normal meridian pulse can we accurately judge the pulse of the lesion. If there is a true visceral pulse, that is, the pulse reflects a severe failure of the viscera function, it indicates that the patient will die soon. For example, if the pulse of the foot sun meridian is cut off, the patient's feet will not be able to bend and stretch freely, and the phenomenon of eyes looking up will occur when he dies. ”
Wait for a doctor to determine the condition: Observe the fat and thinness of the body, adjust the judgment of qi and blood deficiency, and first remove blood stasis to level the period.
Methods of judging life and death: It is judged by the proportionality of the body and the pulse, the coordination of the three parts and nine signs, and the degree of imbalance of the pulse.
Determine the location of the lesion: Observe the changes in the pulse pattern of the nine candidates, paying special attention to the parts indicated by the abnormal pulse.
Understand the function of the viscera and the condition of the meridians: This is the basis for judging the period of life and death, and it is necessary to grasp the normal meridian pulse pattern to accurately judge the lesion pulse.
The relationship between the true visceral veins and life and death: The appearance of the true visceral pulse indicates severe failure of the viscera and the condition is critical.
The Sun Sutra is associated with life and death: Foot sun meridian disconnection affects foot movement, and specific signs (eg, eye upsight) may occur at the time of death.
