Inconel X-750 is a high-temperature, high-strength nickel-based alloy with excellent mechanical properties. Here are some of the main mechanical properties::
1.The tensile strength at room temperature is typically between 1,200 and 1,400 MPa (175,000 and 200,000 psi).
2.The yield strength is typically between 1,000 and 1,200 MPa (145,000 and 175,000 psi).
3.The elongation is usually between 10% and 30%. However, the elongation decreases at high temperatures.
4.It has good fracture toughness and crack propagation resistance, and performs well in response to impact and dynamic loads.
5.The commonly used hardness standard is Rockwell C hardness, which is usually between RC30-40.
Heat Treatment Process:
1.Solution treatment is typically performed at temperatures ranging from 1149 (2100°F) to 1177 (2150°F). This process is designed to eliminate residual stresses in the alloy and compensate for the inhomogeneity of structure and properties caused by cold deformation. Heating rate control and holding time are usually employed, and then the structure of the alloy is fixed by water quenching (rapid cooling).
2.Stabilization treatment is a high-temperature aging treatment to enhance the strength and creep resistance of the alloy. Typically, the alloy is heated to a temperature of about 843 (1550°F) after solution treatment and then left for a period of time. Steady-state treatment can be subjected to two different aging treatments depending on the required performance: low-temperature aging (approx. 4 hours to 24 hours) and high-temperature aging (approx. 1 hour to 4 hours).
Corrosion resistance:
1.It has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures. It is resistant to oxidation at temperatures from 800 (1472°F) to 1100 (2012°F), forming a dense oxide film that prevents further oxidation reactions.
2.It has good corrosion resistance to concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid. It is resistant to these acids at high temperatures and concentrations.
3.It also shows good corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid and chloride solutions. It can maintain good corrosion resistance in the environment of hydrochloric acid and chloride at a certain concentration.
4.It is also very resistant to corrosion in hydrogen environments, including high temperatures and pressures. It is commonly used in applications in high-temperature hydrogen environments, such as the petrochemical, refining, and chemical industries.
Common product size ranges:
1.Plates: The thickness range of plates is 05 mm(0.020 inches) to 50 mm (2 inches), width and length can be customized upon request.
2.The diameter of the bar is usually from 2 mm (0.).078 inches) to 300 mm (12 inches), and the length is generally 1 meter (328 feet) to 6 meters (19.)7 feet).
3.The outer diameter of the tube typically ranges from 3 mm (0.).118 inches) to 300 mm (12 inches), wall thickness and length can be customized as required.
