Zhang Yulian, 63 years old this year, once carried the heavy memory of the family as Li Xiaoling. It was about her grandfather, Li Zhanyuan, a young man who fought valiantly in 1946, whose death left an eternal wound in his 23-year-old life.
His sacrifice made the elderly parents in the family suffer the pain of the white-haired man sending the black-haired man, and Li Shuli was still an ignorant child at that time. With the passage of time, Li Li grew up and had his own family, and his eldest daughter Li Xiaoling got her name.
However, in 1964, the couple passed away one after another, and four-year-old Li Xiaoling was adopted by a family surnamed Zhang in the same village, and since then changed her name to Zhang Yulian, and her younger brother was adopted by the Wang family.
In this small village, Zhang Yulian started a new life, and the silence about the past became the daily routine. Although she could hear stories about her grandfather sporadically, she never knew where his final resting place would be.

On the list of martyrs, Zhang Yulian affectionately found the name of her grandfather Li Zhanyuan, although her memory is vague, she knows that her blood comes from the Li family. Today, at the age of 60, she lives a happy life, surrounded by children and grandchildren.
