Liu Yalou's hometown is Wuping County, Fujian Province, and he has not been back for decades since he joined the revolutionary ranks at the age of 19. It wasn't until after the founding of the People's Republic of China that he received a letter from his younger brother, and after seeing the content of the letter, Liu Yalou was shocked and angry, so he took time out of his busy schedule and went back to his hometown to help solve the problems mentioned in the letter. Because General Liu Yalou is famous and is a well-known figure in his hometown, as soon as the villagers heard that he was coming back, they all came out to greet him. Liu Yalou also greeted everyone very warmly, but he had more important things to do - to find the person mentioned in his brother's letter, so he looked around. At this time, a woman suddenly rushed out of the crowd, dressed in rags and with a disheveled head, pulling the corner of Liu Yalou's clothes and crying, and begging him to help him avenge herself.

Seeing everyone's puzzled eyes, Liu Yalou explained: "Her husband's name is Zhang Dixin, an early leader of the Red Army in northern Wuhan, who died in 1931 at the age of 22, and is an out-and-out patriotic revolutionary martyr. Liu Yalou found Liu Wengui's hometown, and after seeing his widow, tears suddenly flowed uncontrollably, but he couldn't open his mouth. In the end, it was Liu Wengui's widow who comforted him, saying that she could understand that Liu Wengui sacrificed for the revolution and the country, and died a glorious death. Liu Yalou went to the local Civil Affairs Bureau to reissue the martyr's family certificate for Liu Wengui's widow, and explained to the relevant departments that the treatment of the martyr's family must be implemented well, and everyone's hearts must not be cold.
