With the increasing awareness of environmental protection, the monitoring and management of flue gas emissions has become an important part of environmental protection work. As an advanced equipment for real-time monitoring of flue gas emissions, the standard flue gas monitoring system (CEMS) is widely used in various flue gas emission sources, such as power plants, industrial boilers, waste incineration plants, etc. This article will detail the composition and functional requirements of CEMS.
The CEMS consists of a particulate matter monitoring unit and/or a gaseous pollutant monitoring unit, a flue gas parameter monitoring unit, and a data acquisition and processing unit.
CEMS should measure the concentration of particulate matter in the flue gas, the concentration of gaseous pollutants SO2 and/or NOx, the parameters of the flue gas (temperature, pressure, flow rate or flow, humidity, oxygen content, etc.), calculate the emission rate and emission of pollutants in the flue gas, display (can support printing) and record various data and parameters, form relevant charts, and transmit them to the management department through data, **, etc. The output parameter calculation shall meet the requirements of Appendix C in the 75 standard.
For NOx monitoring units, NO2 can be measured directly or simultaneously after being converted to NO® by the reformer furnace, but it is not allowed to monitor only NO® in the flue gas. The conversion efficiency of NO2 to NO should meet the requirements of HJ76.
As an important tool for environmental protection, the standard flue gas monitoring system (CEMS) has very strict requirements for its composition and function. Only a CEMS that meets these requirements can ensure real-time monitoring and effective management of flue gas emissions and provide strong support for environmental protection efforts. With the continuous advancement of technology and the continuous improvement of application requirements, the performance and functions of CEMS will also be continuously improved and optimized.
