The construction of teacher ethics and teacher style has always been an important part of the construction of China's teacher team, especially in recent years, the system of teacher ethics and teacher style construction has been continuously improved, and the mechanism and guarantee means have been continuously strengthened, which has promoted the high-quality development of teacher ethics and teacher style construction in primary and secondary schools. As one of the first batch of national excellent teacher ethics construction practice and innovation base schools, the Affiliated High School of Capital Normal University thoroughly implements the spirit of the general secretary's instructions to strengthen the construction of teacher ethics and teacher style, and has carried out a lot of practical exploration in the construction of teacher ethics and teacher style in view of the requirements and norms of the teacher ethics and teacher style construction system in the new era, and continues to promote the eight theme practice actions of teacher ethics and teacher style construction.
The first is the action of thinking and forging souls. In the construction of teachers' ethics and style, the school puts political construction in the first place: insisting that the party committee take the lead in earnestly studying the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and carry out education on ideals and beliefs; Organize all faculty and staff to study the important expositions of the general secretary on education every month, so that they can learn and understand, enter the brain and heart, and institutionalize and normalize it; Vigorously carry forward the spirit of educators among teachers, strengthen the ideals and beliefs of having a big self and serving the country with sincerity, so that all teachers consciously use the "four consciousnesses" to guide the way, use the "four self-confidence" to build the foundation, and use the "two maintenance" to cast the soul, and deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishments".
In recent years, the school has used the national smart education public service platform to organize and carry out centralized learning of teacher ethics; Use the Beijing continuing education platform to carry out public knowledge training, continuously strengthen the cultivation of teachers' ethics and teaching style, promote all teachers to improve their theoretical literacy in deep study and practice, and continuously strengthen the party's ideological guidance and moral shaping of teachers. At the same time, the school organizes and carries out party members and teachers to record "micro-party courses" to deeply study and understand the party's innovative theories, strengthen ideals and beliefs, and promote the continuous improvement of teachers' ideological and political level.
The second is value-oriented action. The school adheres to the educational concept of "being upright and dedicated, becoming virtuous and talented", actively carries out the education of socialist core values, and runs through the innovative practice of teacher ethics construction. Over the past 37 years, the school has insisted on carrying out the "12.9" excursion activity, which is a microcosm of the school's leading cadres and teachers taking the lead in practicing the core values of socialism. From the school to the red landmark of the "12.9 Movement Memorial Pavilion" in Xiangshan, school leaders and teachers led, encouraged and accompanied all the senior one students to complete the 18-kilometer, three-hour hiking task. At three stations along the way, cadres and teachers led volunteer service students to carry out theme activities and escort orderly rest for hiking teachers and students: at the "Knowledge of Light" history quiz competition site, teachers and students demonstrated the new results of learning the "Four History"; At the "Drama of Light" historical short drama performance site, teachers and students wrote, directed, and performed short plays to reproduce the "12.9" movement; At the keynote speech site to commemorate the "December 9th" Movement, students expressed their determination to remember history, inherit the legacy of martyrs, cherish the sages, strengthen the country with me, and forge ahead on a new journey.
The third is the party building to lead the action. In the creation and selection of advanced party organizations in primary and secondary schools in Beijing, the school set up a special class, took the initiative to compete for the first, worked hard, and implemented the first-level construction indicators and 159 key contents one by one around 6 aspects, and effectively set up and down the work standards. Focusing on the central work, the school leads the high-quality development of education with high-quality party building, and leads the construction of teachers' ethics and teaching style with excellent party style. The party branch secretary of the teacher is a senior teacher with technical expertise, and the secretary of the staff party branch is an administrative cadre.
The fourth is the classroom moral education action. The school takes the "Chengda Thinking Development Classroom" as the starting point to deepen teachers' understanding of the new curriculum standards, promote the overall teaching design of the unit based on "big concepts", and guide teachers to deal with the relationship between knowledge transfer and value guidance. Conscientiously carry out the basic skills competition for young teachers, promote learning exchanges and improvement through competitions, strive to improve the classroom teaching level and classroom moral education ability of young teachers, and promote subject teaching to discipline education.
The school attaches great importance to the teaching of ideological and political courses, and conscientiously summarizes and promotes the good experience that has emerged in the practice of ideological and political teaching reform. For example, teachers integrate the latest achievements of Marxism in the Chinese era into classroom teaching examples, so as to strengthen students' "four self-confidences"; Teachers of ideological and political courses combine the actual life and social practice of students, and actively explore "ideological and political courses in life" and "walking ideological and political courses"; The school has held the "Rule of Law Culture Festival" for 7 consecutive years, in various forms such as rule of law knowledge contests, rule of law speech contests, and lectures by rule of law experts, so that students can enhance their awareness of the rule of law and strengthen their belief in the rule of law from the people and things around them.
Fifth, it is a typical tree virtue action. The school actively carries out the selection and commendation activities of advanced teachers, vigorously publicizes the typical deeds of outstanding teachers through the official WeChat campus network and other channels, tells their extraordinary education stories in ordinary positions, so that everyone can learn and do these role models around them, give full play to the role of typical leadership and demonstration and radiation driving, give full play to the charisma and influence of noble teachers, and form a strong positive energy on campus. The school also recommends excellent film and television works of advanced models to teachers, interpreting the connotation of teacher morality, so that all teachers can feel that perseverance comes from faith, experience the glory of ordinary witnesses, and encourage teachers to consciously strengthen their personal moral cultivation, respect virtue and self-cultivation, and forge the soul of teachers.
Sixth, rule and act ethically. In order to carry out in-depth education on the rule of law, school secretaries and principals took the lead in studying relevant laws and regulations such as the Education Law, the Teachers Law, and the Protection of Minors, and hired Tong Jianming, deputy secretary of the Party Group and executive deputy procurator general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, as the vice principal for rule of law, to teach legal education classes for teachers, students, and parents for three consecutive years. These rule of law courses are rich in connotation, which are not only closely combined with the latest achievements of comprehensive law-based governance, but also focus on the actual situation of teachers, students and parents, which not only cultivates the awareness and spirit of the rule of law among teachers, students and parents, improves the legal literacy of teachers, students and parents, but also makes the idea of the rule of law deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
In addition, the school also carries out legal education for teachers through various methods such as special lectures on the rule of law, rule of law case education, rule of law knowledge competitions, and rule of law poster production, and incorporates rule of law education and teacher ethics education into teacher training: experts are hired to carry out theme lectures, focusing on the study of laws and regulations such as the Teacher Law and the Education Law, as well as the series of documents of the "Ten Guidelines for the Professional Conduct of Primary and Secondary School Teachers in the New Era", to improve the legal literacy and rule awareness of all teachers; With relevant legal documents as the content, hold hard pen calligraphy competitions and hand-copied newspaper evaluation activities; Carry out the study and discussion of the "Ten Guidelines" to help new teachers fully understand, accurately grasp the connotation and essence, and improve their awareness of rules. In the 2023 new teacher training, the new teacher team specially compiled the "Reading Book of the Law that Teachers Must Know When Teaching", and took practical actions to forge the concept of teaching according to law.
Seventh, the clear purification action. On the one hand, the school pays attention to the recruitment of teachers, strictly conducts qualification and qualification examinations, establishes scientific and complete standards and procedures, and resolutely avoids the "five only" tendencies in teacher recruitment; On the other hand, we should strengthen the inspection of the teaching ethics of new faculty and staff, comprehensively evaluate the ideological and political consciousness and moral performance of the hired personnel, and terminate the employment contract of unqualified personnel in a timely manner.
The school has formulated a one-vote veto system for teachers' ethics and ethics, comprehensively investigates the outstanding problems in teachers' ethics and ethics every year, strengthens the construction of the system in a timely manner, and formulates the "Teacher's Ethics Violation Notification System". At the same time, the school encourages parents to participate in the construction and supervision of teacher ethics and teacher style, publishes the principal's mailbox, establishes a parent report, reflection and feedback mechanism, encourages students and parents to supervise and report teacher ethics and teacher style problems, and earnestly implements the requirements for students and parents to participate in the construction of teacher ethics and teacher style.
Eighth, the alarm bell rings for a long time. The school establishes a warning education mechanism: through the convening of a warning education conference, the typical cases of violations of the ten standards of teachers' professional conduct and the serious violations of ethics and violations investigated and dealt with are used as negative teaching materials to carry out teacher ethics warning education; Improve the effectiveness of warning education by organizing first-class warning education films; Experts in the study of teacher ethics are specially invited to give special lectures, leading all teachers to carefully study the relevant documents on the construction of teacher ethics and teacher style, interpreting the key contents, and guiding all teachers to take the case as a reference.
The High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University takes these eight theme practice actions as a game of chess, gives full play to the systematic, comprehensive and synergistic role of interconnection, interdependence and complementarity, so that they can work in the same direction and work together, earnestly answer the practical problems in the practice of the school's teacher ethics and teacher style, carry out innovative practice of teacher ethics and teacher style construction, and form a positive new effect in the construction of teacher ethics and teacher style.
